I applied for OR and haven’t heard anything yet. Anyone else apply to OR hear anything?

I was origi I was originally accepted into chamberlain in 2021 but declined my seat at that time. My question is do I have to restart the entire process to be accepted again? Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks In advance!

Anyone currently at chamberlain? I want to know where you do your pediatric clinical at?

I’m curious as to how they pick who gets accepted... seeing as no one on this lengthy thread has gotten in with really good GPAs and HESI scores. There must have been hundreds of people applying for this start date? I still have yet to receive a phone call and am unable to reach my advisor ?

Is anyone still waiting for a phone call? kinda concerned my advisor is on vacation or something LOL....

Any more phone call yet? It seems like there calling in a random order? sorry to anyone who didn’t get in. But don’t give up!! There are so many people so some times it takes a couple of tries... be patient it will happen! ?

Yeah I’m trying to stay positive but Sacramento RN schools are so saturated with applicants it’s difficult to get in... but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!! ????????

Oh wow well hopefully that’s a good thing for you guys! Around 3.5 and 90 on HESI I also have 8 years of medical experience and all prerequisites competed.

Hello Everyone, I literally just applied for the January 2021 start date. I have to get all my transcripts submitted and my HESI done by the August 28th deadline. Unsure how some people have been denied while they are still actively accepting application for the JAN start date. ?

Thanx for all the replies.. Just wanted to give an update on my situation.. I received my letter that my license was on hold as of August 24 on August 28 I got a letter saying I was cleared to get my license. I went down the next day and picked up my temp. I don't know if I got lucky or what but the whole process took only 4 days!! Yay!! I'm official now...

This was my first post so I wasn't 100% sure what I should do. But thank you!

Must be nice!!! CA is all backwards. After we test we have to wait for official results. If u have no prior convictions you will get another piece of paper that you send in along with license payment. For me I didn't get that payment paper I have to wait till my background check clears.

Thanx for the reply! I'm not concerned about getting my license.. Like you I don't think the board is going to deny me for one speeding ticket. I'm more concerned with the time it's going to take. I'm running low on funds and need my license to start a job a was already hired for. That's why I was Also asking if you can get a temp license while waiting for my background check to clear.

Hello everyone, So I finally got my NCLEX results and passed! The bad part.. My license will be delayed until the board has completed an evaluation on my past convictions. The only thing I have on my record is a speeding ticket over $300. My question is how long will this check take? And can you apply for a temp license while waiting? Any information would help.. I'm stressing out I need my license ASAP. Thank you!!
