  1. I was at the orientation and have started on all of the immunizations. I haven't registered yet, they told me today that I could register later today or tomorrow. I went online to look, but can't remember what the DX, EX means. So I'll have to wait until I get home and look at the paper they gave us. It looks like everything is wait listed except for the DX.
  2. I live in Daly City, so we should form a study group since we live so close to each other!
  3. I just got accepted today! I'm so excited!
  4. I did not apply anywhere else this go around. Just got an email that a few students have declined so there is some movement on the wait list. Still need 14 students to decline in order for me to get in. They want us to attend the registration meeting on the 15th just in case our numbers get called.
  5. Congratulations! I'm halfway down the wait list.
  6. I just got my third rejection letter yesterday. I'm so FRUSTRATED. I'll now have to wait until fall to apply to all of the schools again. I hate that all of the nursing schools in California are so impacted. I have great grades, have passed the TEAS V, but I still haven't been able to get in. I'm now applying to volunteer at hospitals to see if that will help get me into a school.
  7. @rachelynn haven't heard anything yet. so scared.
  8. Hi Kenderella89, What was your class/clinical schedule like? How many times a week did you have to go to campus?
  9. CONGRATULATIONS Blacksheep and Markykdarling!!! So happy for you! I haven't heard anything and now my heart is racing!
  10. Thanks for the update! I guess I can quit checking my email every twenty seconds! The wait is killing me!
  11. I also was scared of taking these science classes, but I was able to successfully pass them! I took chemistry first, then the following semester I took Anatomy and Physiology (2 separate classes), and the following semester after that I took microbiology. I would say out of all the science classes, Anatomy was the most intense because there was so much information we had to know every single week. We had a human cadaver, tons of human hearts, brains, bones, and guts to look at and learn from. My professor quizzed us every week on the different parts we had to know. I had never studied so much in my life until this anatomy class so it made the other classes seem like a breeze! My favorite class out of these ended up being Anatomy! Best of luck to you, you can do it! =) P.S. meeting with a study group really helped me!
  12. Has anyone heard anything? I'm dying over here! Question, if you get accepted, how do you plan on paying for the tuition? I'm not really familiar with financial aid and how it works, so any advice and tips would be much appreciated!
  13. I would not take statistics online. I also have ALWAYS hated and struggled with math. Currently, I am enrolled in a stats class and it's not easy, but I don't think it is as hard as algebra! Someone told me that if you struggle in algebra then you will do fine in statistics because it isn't too much math, more logical thinking and really just knowing how to use the TI-84 calculator. My teacher isn't very good, but my school offers free tutoring and that tutor has been amazing. I currently have an A in the class with just six more weeks to go. Best of luck to you!
  14. Hi Rachelynn, I received an email from Samuel Merritt stating they received my application. In the email, they said they wouldn't know anything until after the first week of November. So I'm assuming we might start hearing back from them sometime between mid to the end of November.
