Being nervous at clinical is my biggest challenge so far. I'm going into my last semester soon and I still don't understand why the thought of clinical makes me nervous. I'm always the one who seems to shake a lot and practice seems to be the only way to overcome my anxiety/shaking at clinical.
I know this is probably a very silly question but I don't understand the differences between these two positions. I hear them used interchangeably and I don't know if they are the same thing or different. Or different based on what hospital you work at. Does anyone know the difference between a nurse supervisor and a unit manager?
I didn't my first two semesters and just put up with my aching feet/legs. In June I took a perioperative summer class and ended up buying support stockings after the first day in the OR. Now I wear them to all my clinicals. To answer your question, yes they work pretty well in my opinion/experience.
