I did 12 hours of college credits four years after high school I am restarting this spring and I will be 29. I will be 32 when I apply for the bsn program and hopefully 34 when I compete it. It's never to late to start!
I am still working on my prerequisites but I will be 32 (hopefully) when I start nursing school. My husband, in-laws and dad are incredibly supportive. My mom, not so much. I don't know what it is. She dropped out of school in the 7th grade, maybe that has something to do with it. So, as others have said, it's not your age but the people around you.
