  1. You are so very young and have a full, exciting life ahead of you to decide how far you wish to take your education and tackle this challenging, exciting career path. I went back to school at 46 to start pre-reqs and just took my last final last night to finish 1st semester of our RN program - I'll be 50 in September! I feel half my age - it's all "upstairs," ya know. In my semester, we have 47 students ranging from 20 to, well, 49 :) I've made wonderful friends of all ages. Most are in mid/later 20's and. You'll find you're right where you should be. Be so proud of continuing education, no matter the age. Forget the age and Congratulations on your journey!
  2. I agree with the other comments. I'm a 1st semester nursing student and we begin our clinicals in a few weeks. I think it would be GREAT to have the information ahead of time to research and learn what is necessary before going in, and not be caught on the spot. I hope who I shadow is as giving. Well done, I say!
  3. very inspirational, Panjia! thanks for sharing!
  4. WOW - great scores, RD. Good for you! I'm applying to our RN program 3rd week of September and the TEAS is around there. I feel a little overwhelmed with the amount of study options - I do have a book. Gonna check to see if it's the one you mention. I'm an "older" adult that returned to school, and I can't believe how much I still have test anxiety - just like when I was a kid! Anyway, congratulations! You are on your way!
  5. Is this thread still active? I know it's 10 months later, almost, but there's always new ECC nursing students, or those that want to be; right? Would love to dialogue with ya'll. I'm at the very beginning of the journey. Just finished my final pre-req (Physiology this summer - a bear!) and am excited to apply to the ECC-Torrance RN program in September. Anyone else out there?
