Okay, I am a fresh graduate last April so I haven't really worked yet. Now i'm trying to apply for New York, do you know the process for that? I'm looking at their website right now and I think I need to go through the CGFNS CVS to be eligible? is that the only thing i need? plus the payments and application form..wat else though..

hey guys, I just got my letter from CA-BRN and same concurrency issues apply to those who were in the new curriculum so my batch mate and I decided to just apply for NCLEX-RN in Texas. Does anybody know the step by step process of applying? I already looked up the website but the forms are a bit confusing..which ones do i fill up?? and what other tests do i have to take to be eligible?? CGFNS, jurisdiction, what else..? Please HELP!

Thanks steppybay, all of us are still waiting you know.. We're just getting our back-up plans ready just in case. We might settle for LVN if we get denied..

Oh is that so..then my only option is to enroll classes for MS & OB here in Cali.. Okay, thanks for the info. I'm still waiting for my letter until now, it's taking so long, it's been 3 weeks..

Okay, but if ever i get a license in Texas, do i have to move there or can I exchange it for a CA license, without having to go through the whole application for NCLeX again?

Can you also take the test in any other state, as long as you get your ATT from Texas?

I'm from AUP Cavite. My batchmates who were old curriculum were already denied, except for one who applied in Texas. Most of my classmates who were new curriculum are still waiting for their letter. It's taking so long. When did u send ur letter with all the requirements?

Thanks! :) But I don't want to get my hopes up just yet.. Hmm..I just realized, my batchmate who got denied was part of the old curriculum..you see, we were a combined batch, and my new curriculum batchmates are still waiting for theirs too..nobody got a letter of eligibility yet though. We just hope and pray that we will!

This is exactly what i sent to BRN and I did complete all my scrubs before graduation. I am part of the new curriculum. Are these students allowed to take the NCLEX?

Hi I'm also a new grad. I'm still waiting for BRN's love letter too, but I'm not getting my hopes up for approval since we all have the same issues..so now I'm looking into applying for LVN, which I'm positive of getting eligibility, same as for my batch mates who got denied to take the NCLEX-RN, they're also looking into LVN now. I'm also looking for schools where I can enroll those two subjects MS & OB. I live by Oxnard btw. Ventura College and Oxnard College doesn't provide such classes for international students so the closest I can enroll for these two subjects is somewhere in LA.
