  1. Does anyone know if CPR-HCP courses are acceptable for the CPR requirement?
  2. can someone pm the link to me please?
  3. i can't find the group:(
  4. I got accepted to McMaster today! I am going to be declining though because I've accepted U of T's offer:)
  5. I accepted mine and got a letter in the mail a few days letter. The letter gives instructions on how to pay the deposit. The only bad thing is that the money has to be in by a certain day, or your offer is revoked. I just sent mine by courier today so it would be in on time!
  6. I read on one forum that 176 students are getting accepted this year. I think she said she heard that from the open house last year
  7. I have to keep a B+ average with my acceptance, so I guess mine is conditional? I received my offer a week ago
  8. I've been accepted to U of T, Queen's AST program and Trent. Vfbarrette, I never received an email from Queens when I was accepted, I just saw my OUAC account changed to accepted. So maybe try looking there? My average was around an 83 for Queens, so I'm sure you'll hear back soon.
  9. jjpoon0326, thanks! I'm really excited and definitely accepting my offer. My final year GPA was an 82%, so I'm surprised I heard back so early! I can't remember each prerequisite grade, but I know I had one B in a humanities course, and A's and A+'s for everything else. I'm in my final year of my BScH in biomedical science, and I have a fair amount of volunteer experience, ranging from working directly with stroke survivors, Alzheimer's patients and random little stuff. I also sent in 5 references, to boost my chances. I think my research experience is what got me in though. I worked as a research assistant through my third year of school and got a scholarship to do more research in the summer. I also am currently doing a 4th year honours research project in a lab, focusing on Alzheimer's disease neuroprotective mechanisms. I think U of T puts a greater emphasis on research than other universities. I was also told the first round of acceptances is over, but new offers are being sent out very soon. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
  10. Also, I received an email response from U of T today about another question I had, and they said as of today they've finished handing out their first round of acceptances, but they're planning to hand out more very soon. So, there's lots of time:)
  11. Lisa 87, I'm sure you'll hear back soon. It looks like U of T is taking marks and supplementary applications into account. Do you have good research/volunteer experience? Your marks seem great so I'm sure that's not the problem. Like I mentioned before, my average in the last 5 credits was not very competitive and I was expecting to hear back in May or June, when they had received my current semester's marks. My lowest prerequisite grade was a B and the rest were A's and A+'s. Looking at past forums, I haven't seen anyone with an average as high as yours not get accepted. I hope you hear back soon!
  12. I got accepted to Trent's compressed nursing program 2 weeks ago. I had an average around 84 in the last 10 credits. I was accepted to Queens AST nursing program and U of T today. My first choice was U of T, so I'm declining Trent's offer soon. Good luck to those of you waiting! I'm sure you'll hear soon:)
  13. I got accepted too. My average was only an 82% in the last 5 FCE, but I've been working in a lab for the past 2 years, finish my degree this year and have a lot of volunteer experience. I also handed in 5 references to boost my chances.
  14. I was accepted to U of T today! I had an average on the lower side because of 1 bad semester, but in the end it didn't matter!
  15. I spoke too, soon. I was just accepted to U of T!
