  1. @pookyp Hey Nikos cousin! :)
  2. What would you say to one of your children who said,' Mom I have the chance to live my dream, but it's gonna be hard and I'm no spring chicken.' :) You know the answer to this.
  3. So I start LPN school Feb 2013. I'm in an 18 month evening program set to complete Fall 2014. I'm nervous and overjoyed at the same time. This is a second career for me, but I feel like I did starting school the first time!! All of my paperwork is done, but I haven't bought my books yet. I will probably do that next month. Anyone else starting in the Spring? How long is your program? How are you feeling? How are you prepping for this next big move of your life?
  4. Get your LPN license so you can work until you find another program.
  5. Tuition is about $6000, books, uniforms, and supplies are seperate. I'm in OK.
  6. I don't have children, but am planning on trying to work through nursing school. I am planning on going into the evening class. I have already tested and am just waiting on my acceptance letter. As for the AAS LPN I don't think there would be much difference. The positions I see want you to have an LPN, whether it be diploma'd or degree'd. How did the meeting with the counselor go?
