  1. Hi all, I had a quick question for yah. When going to nursing school, what js the structure of the classes? How many days a week, how many hours a day? Are the clinicals mixed in with the didactic? How realistic is working while in class?
  2. Sorry for quoting a literally 8 year old post, but in EMS I've been asked more than once if emergency rooms are open when they make a transport decision. "Oh, you've got kaiser. You want to go to this city, or this city? Both about 15mins away" "Well, which one is open" "Both are mam, they are ERs" "Well, which one has nicer doctors?"
  3. Personal favorites "I think I forgot to eat" "I had a rough weekend" We had a woman, severe fibromyalgia. And also a real life princess in the pea story. She said even the littlest wrinkle in the sheet would cause her terrible pain, and her SNF wouldn't take the wrinkles out. Pain resolved with smooth sheets. I feel bad for her, and her situation. But I see how frusterating it is for everyone. And of course, I'm sure you're all familiar with encarcaritis. Yes, you're still going to jail.

How does one Challenge the paramedic boards? So, you don't sit through the didactic, obviously the clinical phase would be pointless, but you weren't required to do your internship (time on an ambulance with a paramedic preceptor)?
