This morning when I went, they said they were not looking up vouchers. If you signed a promissary note, you dont have a voucher. If you have a neg balance on LOLA you should have a book voucher. Its about 500.00, just enough for your ebooks and nursepak. Also you need your LOLA number to use your voucher. Soo print out a schedule or something from LOLA which will have your acct number.

Got my ebook and nursepak today with my book voucher!! YAY!! Guess I'll start reading now! Still waiting for Bb Sat.

Just confirmed that bookstore credits do start today. Also the nurse pack costs $43. My friend just purchased his today! Heard the system was down so, you might want to call be fore you go!

Try to recheck LOLa as far as your fin aid. I checked about 8:00am and my funds were posted. You can purchase the nurse pak at City Park for 43.00. You should have got the higher one card in the mail. It is only used for your refund. Money will be refunded to that card after the offical 14th day of school. However, you can request the monies to be released to your bank by filling out a form online and mailing it back in to higher one. See the financial aid for more info. I believe you could just stop by the northshore campus. for that!

What is going on with Bb?

Book credits start on the 15th. I know this for sure bc I asked today when I was at the school. Also it says so on the Bookstore link. I went to the school to speak with the coordinator she was not there. I told her many people were confused because what needed to be done was really explained good enough. I believe the password they gave us is for the evolve acct. Also, I confirmed that the courses for BB was supposed to be uploaded today but mine's is not. They told me, that the teacher probrably didn't post anything yet. This frustrates me! Now, I am becoming overwhelmed. I don't know where to start. I dont know whats due on the st day. They don't have dates. I need to read instruction in the syallbus, bc there really no info in the one they gave us. I am not stressing about the readings. Soon as I see the credit on my acct, I'm going to the bookstore!

Phi823, I remember you saying that u were having problems w/ ur fin aid. Chech ur email. There is a scholarship that can help you with your books if you will not be receiving aid. Up to 600.00. Its first come, first serve. Deadline to apply is Monday!

I would pay half the balance, then pay a little more each month. This shorten the overall payment time and you still have some savings in the bank!

Sassy.Bones we do not have to wear clinical uniforms on the 21st. You may need your nurse pak or other tools we have to buy, but you will know once you read blackboard. We are supposed to have access to Bb on the 13th. You cannot bring any electronics to the clincal site. If you need to look things up you have to go to your clinical instructor. Anyway you should be researching your patient and their medicines the day before you go to clinicals, which would be Mondays.

hello6921, I would definitely try to get the LSU parking pass first. $125.00 for a semester is not bad at all! It beats paying 60-75.00 monthly.

Mamisu we have to be at school for 730 not 8am. For those who are still waiting on aid talk to Ms. Labat at Charity. She helped alot of us out during orientation. I have already accepted my award. So when they release aid to cover class, when will we be allowed to buy books with the bookstore credit?

We can wear any color shoes with the blue scrubs. They are not mandatory.

They said the e-book is required. If you want to but paperback u can. They said some instructors will use the ebook to make notes or highlight areas in a chp u need to read. I think its going to take some time to figure out how to use the e-book and time is something I dont have enough of. Thats where my fustration kicks in. Also, I like to plan, plan, plan. Im upset bc I have to wait two weeks to fig out what our schedule is like on Bb.

yeah, Im going to do the parking at LSU too. Hopefully, it doesn't fill to fast!
