Long Beach Memorial New Grad?
A few others have posted on the topic but no one has responded yet. Any Long Beach Memorial new grads out there willing to give some insight on their experience? I was offered a position; it was a verbal agreement. They also gave me documentation that requires a 2 year commitment, but I haven't been given any employment details. When I inquired about employment details, I was told that I would receive them at orientation AFTER I have submitted the document committing me to 2 years with them. I have serious reservations about blindly jumping into a 2 year contract not knowing my exact job description, salary, schedule etc. Can anybody provide some insight on LBM's new grad program & the hiring process? Thank you!

ACNP Interview
Hi everyone! I am currently in my first quarter of my MSN for ACNP. Our instructor asked us to interview someone in the field to get better insight on our future careers. Would anyone be interested in answering any of the following questions? If you are in California, that is even better! I would truly appreciate it! Thank you in advance, Future ACNP Why did you become an ACNP? How long have you been practicing as an ACNP? How did you get your current job? What national certification do you currently hold and why? Describe how consistent your role is with what you thought it would be when you first started your job. What is your role regarding development of standardized procedures? What is your role regarding medical coding and billing? What do you wish you had learned in school that would have better prepared you to be successful as an ACNP? What advice can you give me as I begin my education? What do you like the best/least about the ACNP role? Describe how your understanding of the ACNP role changed as you went through your educational program. What professional organizations do you belong to and why are these memberships beneficial/not beneficial?

I received a call yesterday for an ED interview as well. It's a 10 minute speed interview. There were several slots open, so there is still hope everyone!
