Bridging Program in Australia
Im already quite familliar with the course at unisa since a collegue of mine went through the course and im keeping in touch with her often. Im a bit worried though learning that 457 visas got new rules like requiring labor market testing. Ive also heard that there are hundreds of citizens and PRs who are new grads are just floating around jobless. What im trying to figure out is if ive got even the slightest chance of getting sponsored considering ive got 3years in ED. Also heard oz employers prefer nurses from the uk and ireland.

Bridging Program in Australia
hi gems and PogzRN, if you dont mind, how many years of experience do you have in the phil? Im very worried here, im about to take the mar intake @ UNISA and it seems that theres no turning back. Im an ER nurse for 3 years already and ive heard that sponsorships are really rare these days. how did you get offers? what websites did you look for jobs? and what VISA will you be provided by the employers? is it 457? TY!

Chances of getting a nursing job after bridging. What are the factors?
@ceredwyn... good day sir, I would just like to have a quick assessment, i am a registered nurse from the philippines with 3 years + of post grad 2years plus in the ER. What would be my chances of landing a job after a bridging course. I will be taking up the March intake @ UNISA next year. Does other paths like Skillselect or through Skilled migrant routes offer mo chances of success? Thank you .

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
thankyou so much chelseaxyrene.. im a bit confused though with the type of visa to apply for.. some say its best to take the business short-stay visa.. but its only valid for 3months, but then the BP is 12-13weeks which is morethan 3 months. So the business short-stay visa isnt enough. or if i finish the BP in 12 weeks id still be forced to fly back to Phil bec. business shortstay visa is over.. please enlighten me.. thankyou.

yes i have already passed the ielts. im a bit confused with some of the questions on the form like "What is your residential address?" and "Is your residential address the same as your principal place of practice in Australia?" - i guess they were assuming that im currently at Oz, so should i leave this blank or provide my address here in the phil. thankyou danceinstructor.
