  1. I took my PN NCLEX in July and I live in Arkansas. Honestly, I'm not sure if it's any different because you are a foreign but I do know it took about a week for the background check and my ATT was 4 days! Where will you be testing? Little Rock? Fort Smith? Texarkana? Have you decided yet??
  2. SILVERTHUNDER, does this LaCharity book come in an LPN edition? or just RN? Does it provide rationales also??
  3. I know how you feel! I just sent off my application to retest and paid for my NCLEX today. I thought I would feel better about it, but actually... I feel more upset because I didn't ever think I'd be having to retest. I'm sorry for the dumb question, but what's ATI? I'd love to partner up and study somehow. I feel I learn so much from other people!
  4. I'm just trying to make sure I'm looking for the right Kaplan book.. the one I found is called NCLEX PN 2012-2013. it was only $14 online.. that seemed kinda cheap to me- guess I just wanted to make sure that was the right book that everyone seems to be raving about...
  5. the problem I'm having now is finding a book.. I live in Arkansas so the only book store we have in my town is a Books-a-Million. I went there today and they do not have any testing material or study guides for LPN's only RN. so looks like I'll be having to purchase a book online.. any suggestions on books? I am pretty good on content... I feel comfortable with that... it's the questions I have trouble with... applying the knowledge to the question is what gets me.
  6. you're right! I just find myself in ups and downs.. especially when classmates ask me how I did.. and I'm the only one in my class that has not passed so far I am just so disappointed...
  7. when I got my results in I found out that I got near passing on every section but basic care
  8. my test shut off at 85 questions =(
  9. Yes, I did the PVT thing and it took me to the credit card page, then I found out two days later with quick results that I did not pass.
  10. Well, I'm sure if you've read any of these type of posts, you know that I'm extremely disappointed in myself. I took the NCLEX on Tuesday and FAILED. I am very upset about this considering that I studied for 5-7 hours 5 days a week for 2 months. I used the Saunders NCLEX review and also took a review course and the HESI exam. I felt very prepared and comfortable taking the NCLEX. I was very shocked when I found out that I did not pass. When studying I would read, make notes, flash cards, many online quizes, and also the quizes in the book and on the CD. I feel very lost as to where to begin to start studying again. I have really bad test anxiety, and now I feel like I have lost all confidence in my test taking abilities. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. What books or study material do you feel helped you best prepare for the NCLEX?
