hi gold2010 im sorry it took me a while to respond...i dont have any notes that i can send you since i did not type any in the computer..i had notes that i wrote in the index card like lab values and important stuff i had read on the book...but the resources i had used is listed on my post..i mainly used saunders comprehensive review for content..and did a lot of practice questions on the cd that it came with it..let me know what are your questions and ill try to ans and help you the best i can..Good luck!! sorry again for the delayed response

Congratulations! I hope I will get my result soon. I also took my nclex on Nov 7. I can't wait to see my name in the BON site. When I was taking the exam my computer shut off at 75 question as well. good luck to you all..when i was studying i felt the same way too...like i dont know anything..dont worry nclex would help you remember what you have studied..and have faith in God...prayer is really amazing ..i was done with my exam last nov. 7 and passed with 75 questions, because God guided me all the way..you wont ever feel ready..but you know more than you think...my prayers are all with you..may God bless us all..

sorry friends for some wrong spelling in my post i was typing so fast ...i want to add that nclex is hard if you dont prepare and study for it ,,,and hard work really pays off at the end..so dont worry if you get so tired studying just think of the good outcome you will have when you pass this exam...think of all the patients you can help and save think of the RN after your name...its such a very nice feeling when you have worked so hard and for something and finally achieve it...:)) believe me it was really a long journey since i graduated outside the US...i have to take an english test and theres alot of expenses and paper work,and alot of waiting...and i graduated 2 years ago...so if i can do it i dont have any doubt that you can too..with the help of God almighty nothing is impossible ,,keep the faith and you shall reap success..:)) and for all those who are not successful on the first take,,dont loose hope,,just think that God have plan for you maybe you are not a safe nurse yet...thats what i told my self ..i said Lord if i dont pass,,that means im not a safe nurse yet,,so ill keep studying and keep learning..but i wont give up...so dont loose hope..in Gods perfect time,,he will give it to you

hi i just passed the nclex with 75 questions first take last nov. 07 2012 ...this site had helped me alot so i believe its my turn now to help those who are about to take their exam.. first of all i had read here that the formula for nclex is 5 percent knowledge and 95 percent faith ..that kept me going everytime i feel overwhelmed.. it has been a long journey for me,,i had quit my job so i can foucus on studying,,its about 3 months before i took the exam...i encountered alot of trials during those 3 months,,i almost died in a car wreck ,,my dog died..but God is always there to protect me...he is with my all through my nclex preparation...i cry everyday when i feel that its overwhelming and i always asked His help to help me through it and help me become knowledgable ,,,i prayed not just to pass the nclex but be a safe nurse... the day before my exam i went to church and asked the blessing of the priest..and i called the local priest where we were originally from and asked for his prayer as well,,my mom asked prayers from the sisters in the convent for special intention,my friends prayed for me too...YES theres alot of prayers for me for this exam..and i believe with all my heart that it is because of their prayers and mine that i passed the nclex.. on the day of the exam,,i felt so nervous that i dont even know what my index finger is when they asked for my finger prints lol,,and i cant open the locker with my key..:) i just kept on praying..when i finally was in front of the computer i was still nervous,until i did the tutorial...but when i started the real nclex questions,,,,i was at peace and calm,,,,it felt like i was just practicing questions at home...questions are so familiar,,,its not that hard as i imagined it will be and thats because i know that there was a divine intervention by God on my exam..He knew how hard i prepared for this test,,the questions are straight forward...you would be able to eliminate the wrong answers 50 percent right away..i had one math calculation which i am 100 percent sure right...so i never had any calculations again..all my questions are prioritization ,,,who you would see first,,and i think 13 sata, and one ecg strip that was so familiar..all i wrote on my white board is trust in the lord with all your heart,, ask and it shall be given to you and the solution i have for the one calculation i got on the test and i counted my sata's hehhe.when i reached 75 my computer shut ,,i said wow, i almost jumped but then remembered i have to raise my hand before i can go out..thank goodness i read that here somewhere,,the proctor smiled at me like a good job kind of smile i told my self i must be hallucinating theres no way she knows how i did..i felt so good and happy after the test i know God was with me all through the exam cause i asked Him to be with me..2 hours after i checked the pvt and got the good pop up ,,,now im on the BON website !!! yahoo....for all of you that is about to take the test keep the faith and ask GOd ,,,and he will give it to you...if you need anything or have questions pls feel free to ask me.. sorry for this long post and thank you for reading...if i can do it you can too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!good luck to you all and may God bless you..to God be the glory in every accomplishment we achieve... heres what i used for my self review: * saunders comprehensive review ( finished reading and answering all the questions in every chapter)-- its kinda overwhelming since its very thick but i divided it into chapters sometimes i do 3 to 4 chapters a day..and answered most questions in the cd...its really great for content,, practicing questions is good to practice your brain on nclex type of questions...i believe that you have to know your content and for me just answering questions to questions right away is not enough... *kaplan strategies 2012-2013 .finished answering all the questions on that chapter--helpfull as well *pda book by la charity-- would help you in prioritiation,,great book * ncsbn-helped me with the questions as well,,content is kinda overwhelming * nclex 3500-i did some questions here ..i just chose the alternate format..its free you can search it in google * do alot of questions ..questions, questions, questions,,,,and pray pray pray and pray...thats the formula in passing the nclex P.S ---i always get low scores on the practice questions,,dont get discouraged if you do foucus on the rationale and research on things you havent heard..that way you will be a safe nurse...

yeah thats what i read,,that they are not more into content..i got the kaplan book for the strategy then im probably gonna go with hurst,,cause its more affordable and i really think i need the more on content review since its been 2 yrs already that im out of school..so theres a lot of cobwebs on my brain :))

hi :)..i dont know yet where,,but im gonna try in little rock cause thats the closest testing center to me...where did you take yours?hopefully they would have a date available on my preferred dAte im gonna review at least 2 months before im gonna take the RN NCLEX...did you get your att 4 days after the background check or after youve registered with pearson? how did you know your back ground check is done? did you call the board? cause i want to know also if mine is done :)) i submitted my fingerprint card july 16 and they got it july 17 in little rock...

i ordered the pda by la charity and saunders nclex 5th ed...then im gonna do the hurst as soon as im off work already..im gonna give my resignation...ohh im so nervous..tnx for the reply it helps a lot.:)

tnx for the reply,,,can i ask what other study materials you used aside from hurst..i need to do a study plan..i have the kaplan book for for strategies,,but im wondering what other studying materials i need to have..im totally lost
