A&P I this spring! I start Tuesday! Along with English 111, ITE 115, Math!

Okay, so I am in the process of taking my pre-reqs at a Community College here in VA. I have been battling the issue of: Associates or BSN?! I had originally decided on Associates, because I live with my in laws, and I am wanting to move my family and I out ASAP. I fully intend on going back later (after I get my associates) and furthering my education. I eventually want my Masters. HOWEVER....... With the economy the way it is... I am SOO fearful that I wont be able to find ANY job with an associates! I have a friend, and some clients (I am currently a hairdresser) who have associates in nursing, and havent had any trouble so far getting a job, but they either: have been working already 8+ years, or male nurses. So I am stuck.. I am planning on finishing my pre reqs.. and then applying to both Associates and BSN programs, and just letting God handle the rest! Any input???

I am going to J Sargeant! Will be starting my pre-reqs soon.. sooo excited to get this ball rolling! Soooo freaked out though!! LoL.. I love this site.. it gives the Good, bad and ugly of nursing!!

I'm in the process of enrolling and starting my pre-reqs for nursing. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I've been reading all your posts all over this website! I hope I can make some new friends in my nursing classes.. and some on here too! Is there anyone in the Richmond, Va area? Anyone else as brand spakin' new as I am? How are you feeling? I feel like a new chapter is about to start in my life, and as much as I despise change.. I am thrilled!!!!
