  1. Yea... My disbursement was decreased $111 and some change due to the increase in tax... Still grateful but bummer... and also considering we have to add it to income which increases it to just above a point where alot of my tax breaks can't help me anymore and they took out federal taxes but not state so we have to pay that out of pocket... Idk still extremely grateful but starting to see there are some things that I might have glossed over now on the other side of it.
  2. Exactly... I know that my loan payments are considerable, and honestly most of my friends who have degrees in other areas have just as much debt if not more. The difference is that we have certain programs such as this which are amazing, so in my circle of conversation though they're happy for me I hate to even being to start carrying on about this delay in payment. It's funny I only feel free to even voice my frustration with this process here. Idk I just feel like I've graduated from checking the portal 1000 times a day for status change, to checking my email for the confirmation, to checking my phone for alerts from my bank of a deposit lol.. OCD alert
  3. I hope we start to receive payment soon. I feel bad even beginning to complain about when when when, but I feel like this process has been a consistent game of waiting.
  4. Yea!!! So happy for you. Told you me and have the same happy days!!
  5. Ok so like always I was checking my status, and it was giving me the run around to give them all this info that they already have to verify who I am. So I think wierd? I log out thinking maybe I didn't click on the right link. So now paying close attention I clicked on the RN NELRP link and they asked again, so I obliged and guess what people.... I'AM A PARTICIPANT!!! WHAT WHAT!!! HAPPY DANCE TWO TIMES!!!:woot: SOO happy right now, all the praying and worring is over. Deep breath in, and I'm stepping off this treadmill. I hope everyone gets there signatures and final participant info asap. I didn't get an email, just checked a 1000 times a day like I always do and, bam there it was...Service contract starts today!!
  6. Thanks Chro31!!! I'm just so appreciative right now :-)! Now just waiting on the final email lolol If it's not one hurdle it's another lol. StaceeRN, so happy for you! I see that our dates of getting responses are the same. Hope we end this wait with good news again.
  7. Totally agree with prior comments, like I really don't think you have anything to worry about. As long as your not in default, which your not, you should be just fine.
  8. Got my second signature today!!!!! Oh yeah!!! Oh yeah!!! Happy dance!!! Oh yeah :-) :-) :-) So happy right now :-)
  9. Congrats for everyone!! This is so good :-) happy for ya'll!!!
  10. So happy for you!!! Thank goodness
  11. This has moved past anxiety, past frustration, past annoyance to pure exhaustion.... I just wish they'd sign our contracts everyone, so all of us could collectively get off this treadmill of worry!
  12. I GOT AN EMAIL!!!!!! I'm so happy I don't even know what to do with myself!!! I see others are getting emails too.... I hope everyone gets one.... ?????
  13. I'm really trying not to become discouraged... I'm still very hopeful, but frustrated. Hope we all hear something soon.
  14. So happy for you!!!!!
  15. Still nothing... When I first applied the idea of possibly not hearing anything until October didn't seem like quite a big deal, but now everyday seems like a eternity. I don't want to hear no..part of me is like take all the time you need to find some money for everyone BUT this is INSANE:bugeyes:.
  16. However, how you calculated it makes perfect sense. I wouldn't be worried if I was you.
  17. StaceeRN, Well I work 12.5 hour shifts and do 3 shifts for 3 weeks and 4 on the last, and my annual base salary is based off that. I'm not given a per hour rate though I could figure that out, I didn't see that nessesary. On my salary letter written from my job it had my annual base salary and how much on top of that I would be paid for whatever else. So I used that base number. Even on my paycheck it has how much I being paid, and a break down that states what's coming from base salary, and what's coming from add-ons from negations from elsewhere, because next year when my union contract goes in renegotiations those add-ons can change for better or worse, but I could never be paid less than my base. I hope that makes sense.
  18. After the site updating, nothing seems to have changed on my page. I'm still Under Review...agh!! This is starting to wear on my nerves :barf01:
  19. I plugged in my base salary right off my paystub, and I supported it by adding a letter that had the breakdown of pay from my job when I was hired. Since I work for a state hospital, it has your base and then the add-ons based on geography, time diff and whatever else, but that is always subject to changes in contract renegotiations, budget cuts and whatever. The base stays the same regardless. I don't know...everyday I have also been over analyzing my application, so I can totally understand. Honestly I'm not sure if that was the right thing but, that's what I did.
  20. I truly appreciate you giving us insight as to what occurs on these flights, in addition to commendng your service. Joining the Air Force as aNurse is something that I have seriously considered for sometime now, and I would love to get your insight.
  21. So I've been reading this thread for quite some time trying to get a handle on what is happening with this whole application process and I really want to say thanks everyone for all of this amazing information. Like everyone else I feel like I can't even function waiting to hear from them. I got a certified letter the other day and was crazy disappointed that it wasn't about this. I feel like the stress from the anticipation of it is ridiculous. At this point, I like most have the credit check and the excluded list on my supporting documents, in addition to the "under review" about my application, but that's all. I'm starting to pace when the mail comes, which is not good considering I work nights and should be sleeping, lol.
