  1. Hi guys. I think you all still have a chance. Stay positive. Generic FT Homestead Group had our orientation today. Orientation went well and was pretty much informative.
  2. Hi fellow classmates. For those of you that are in the MDC Fall/2013 nursing program and are unaware, there is a FB page for our class. If you would like to join us, please look us up under "MDC ADN class Fall 2013". And congrats to all that got in and best of luck to those that are still waiting.
  3. I'm in also!!!! Accepted into the FT Generic in Homestead. So happy!!! I can finally sleep tonight! Sorry I got my email at 5:58pm but I had so many phone calls & text messages I was responding to. The results of posting my acceptance letter on Instagram & FB! Lol! Finally got a break. GPA 3.7, TEAS 91.3% Competitive score 91.78. Congrats to all who got in and for those who are still waiting... Stay positive. You will get in!!!
  4. I applied only to FT Generic... Has anyone receive emails for generic FT?
  5. Congrats!!! Nothing yet for me...
  6. Welcome Dieguez!!! Thanks for joining! It's amazing we have more guests (21) than members (9) on here. Wish everyone would consider joining and sharing their info and concerns. Please join us!
  7. I believe you are right...
  8. Thank you for sharing your experience. This wait is agonizing and the only thing that helps is reading post like yours. All the best to you!
  9. My financial aid is still pending. And will be pending until I'm accepted in the program, go to orientation and schedule my classes because an advisor has to do an IEP to submit along with an appeal letter since this is my 2nd degree.
  10. Marilyn or anyone help me please...how do I figure out the sequences? I live far south so I plan on going to homestead campus.
  11. Good morning!! My heart made a jump this morning when I checked my emails... But it was from financial aid and 1 from the bookstore. I can't seem to get much done anymore besides for checking here and my emails.
  12. Congrats! Awesome score! I'm sure you're in.
  13. Welcome dreita! I heard different stories such as both, only email or by mail. So my advice is keep checking both. Good luck to you also.
  14. Hi Saratornes, welcome to the group! Would you like to share you scores and what program did you apply to. My GPA is 3.7 and my TEAS 91.3 which gives me a total combine score of 91.78. I applied only to the ft. Generic. Wishing you and everyone here the best of luck.
  15. Count me in on both!
  16. I have to do the same thing because this is my 2nd degree major. Financial Aid are requesting an "Individualized Educational Plan" (IEP) along with "Standards of Academic Progress" Appeal Letter. The IEP will have to be done by an advisor after we are accepted into the program. This sucks since we don't know how long the appeal is really going to take. I lost my job over a year ago so finances has been very tight for my husband and I. I hope & pray this whole process will not take so long. Best advice; as soon as the acceptance letter are received we should go see an advisor to see how soon they can get us the IEP. Anxiously awaiting to hear from MDC! :||
  17. I applied in February also and they told me the same thing that letters will go out June 1st.
  18. I feel the same way... Ugh!!! Trying to distract myself but its not working.
  19. Thanks for sharing this information lexibabi... Can you tell us where you got your info please?
