I just took my NCLEX-RN today...I felt the admission process was extremely intense and made my nervousness shoot up to the max. I graduated from a nursing program that is prestigious and known as being very tough...with a 97% pass rate, so I felt well-prepared and confident. Needless to say I was PRAYING that the computer would shut off at 75 questions as it had for many of my classmates who have recently taken it, but it just kept on going...with each question past 75 I became more and more crushed and discouraged. The beast finally keeled over at 155 questions. I didn't count, but I would estimate about 20 SATA, no sound, no hot spots, and maybe 10 dosage calculations. Holy crap. Walked out quickly to try to keep it together and not cry in front of the proctors...felt like nursing school--no matter how tough it was--had not prepared me for this. I IMMEDIATELY pulled out my cell phone and checked to see if the "trick" would work. My results had been delivered so I continued to try to re-register and got the so-called "good" pop-up. Trying like heck to believe it, but I'll never deny how HARD that test was. So...48 business hours huh until "quick results?" I'm in NY, and I'm at least thankful for that. But, that timeline places me in my car with my entire family traveling to our remote vacation destination that was planned before I scheduled my exam. I'm seriously hoping that results will appear Monday afternoon (48 actual hours, counting Sunday as a "business" day), and I won't need to wait until Tuesday. I'd at least like to have time to compose myself and grieve the time and money spent without my family witnessing my shame. I'm trying to have faith in that "good" popup, but I'd much rather see the word PASS next to my name. Anyone out there that tested on a Saturday and got results on Monday?
