  3. This is true. Found out kst nite, 3rd shift cleans kitchen, dining room, bathrooms at night. Not quite what I expected to be doing as a c a. It is at an assisted living facility. Leaning towards calling the other place. Might be more physical but I'd be doing more of what I was trained to do. Thank you for responding.
  4. Care of 13 patients plus taking care of a wing w 2 other CNAs. I thought the first job was ideal w all that I have on my plate but beginning to wonder if I should go w the 2nd job as they seem to be managed better. I'm a brand new CNA either would my first job....any advice? Thank you.
  5. One shld be PT 24 hrs one week 29 the 2nd. Set days to work. If I can't work I have to get my own replacement. It's 3rd shift. Most of the residents take care of themselves w just reminders, they only have 13total care. Residents between 2cnas and every1 helps if they r short staffed. It's automatic fire if u don't get a replacement and don't come in. At night there is only the 2 CNAs and they have to make sure everyone in the building is ok in addition to the ones they care for. Seemed ideal w going to school PT and mom duties at home. However the times I have been in, seems like they don't run things well or someone else needs asking before I can get an answer. I also got a call bout a 3rd shift position. pT. they are organized w the physical and TB testing, orientation and hoyer lifting usage (other facility has one but never uses it. I would also would also be would also be takin

Basically other than two week clinicals have no work experience. How long can I expect to look? I had a job interview one. Might get called back for interview 2. Wondering if I will ever get a chance.

  11. Hello, just got certified in August and I'm starting to put in applications. What kinds of questions shouldi be asking during the interview? The only one I can think of is the ratio of how many residents to CNA and what is a good ratio w that? What ratio would show too many to adequately takecare of? Benefits. Scheduling? Is there anything else? Thank you for any and all help.
