I used the Kaplan books and did very well. However, a few nights before the exam I went to the store and browsed through the Princeton books and they covered types of math questions that weren't even in the Kaplan books. Because of this, I would highly recommend using the Princeton books.

^^^^ I totally agree. This perspective is a unique one and one that I am sure would be met with much criticism. I agree that NP's have an enormous amount of schooling behind them and should have access to continuing medical education, especially taking advantage of online learning. I am also curious to know if this thought has been explored by others and when this passage was written.

I am also scheduled to take it next week. I have been studying the Kaplan book and have been doing just "OK" on the practice tests. The program I am applying to says that competitive scores are around the 50th percentile. I am wondering what percentile most people on here scored in? Any insight would be appreciated. Cory

I use ackley uniforms (http://www.ackley-uniforms.com/landau_drawstring_scrubs.htm) . They say that the inseam is only 34 inches but I am 6'5'' and these pants are really, really long. They could probably even stand to be taken up a little...I am very happy with them. No cargo pockets but the length makes up for that.
