Hello the first six months is pre req's I don't have the class list in front of me If I find it I will post the classes then the 10 months are lpn classes. I can't tell you how the school is first hand but I know a few people who graduated and they liked was it perfect no but no alarming complaints and every time I go to the school I speak to students there in the lpn program and they are happy with the program. turtlebob, Hello I sorry I may not be much help I took the Kaplan without studying anything because my rep called and said there was a spot open for January and to just take it and try if I fail just retake, well I didn't want to start in January but I did want to know what the test was like so I took it. I passed and what I can say is it is very similar to the compass they kept telling you did great on the compass and the kaplan is pretty much the same i didn't believe them but it was. The reading is boring but it is basically read and answer questions in kaplan it is kicked up a notch but not much. The writing is the same as the compass switch out sentences, the math is a bit harder but not by much if you did great on the compass I can't see you failing the Kaplan. I am not good at math at all and I had no study materials I passed. the scores they are vague about I know you have to get at least a 50 or 55 on the math which is what I was focused on since I such at it. Well just came back from Mildred Elley and this is what they had to say they separated the program because it was too much confusion they way they had it, the program is still 16 months however, you have to take the compass and score a certain percent on each section you have two tries then you have to take the teas V and the highest scores get in she didn't say what score you have to get its basically the highest scores of those that are applying at the time. They have the articulation agreement with helen fuld. So that was it basically and I am going to take the compass next monday and see what happens I am not sure what to study she said theres no study guide so I guess I will just study the basics. I am going to still apply to midmanhattan and goldwater just in case. Wish Me luck:)

Well I spoke with AMG and they still don't qualify for financial aid so they said students use a payment plan and that honestly is too much to take on for me anyway. Midred Elley has separated there program I am goint in today to talk to an admissions rep and see what has changed with there program.

It really does help thank you, I will look into it hopefully they have financial aid if not I'll see what mildred elley says.

darkreign27 Thank you for the info but I couldn't find AMG website, But I didn't know that the programs are now separate that makes a big difference I didn't like the fact that I had to start in the MA program especially since I am already a MA so that really turned me off from mildred elley. So now Thanks to my allnurses I have to calls to make Monday AMG and Mildred Elley. Thank you so much :)

I did a little searching and they don't seem to have a website or at least I have not found one but the do have a facebook page and the school looks very nice I am going to give them a call Monday If you have any info I would appreciate it and thank you so much for informing me about the school :)

Thank You for the info!:) I know they have an LPN program a friend of my graduated but she was in the first group of LPN's so it went rather easily but I was just wondering about whats happening now because my friend went in 2010.
