  1. if now doesn't seem to be the time for you to shine don't you lose your hope because that's how life is in this world just you keep the faith in yourself for joy shall surely come just you keep in mind the happiness tomorrow soon will bring all the failures should never keep you from being what you are don't you stay away when times get rough it's the time you stand and fight take all the strength you have in you whenever trials come and it can't be long before we can see the daylight once again when the world turns it can't always be darkness and despair you will surely get all your dreams just for you to wait and see I am a double degree holder. Right when I finished my first degree, NYC was bombed and there were massive layoffs in my chosen field. A few years passed and I still had no luck. I then decided to take up nursing in the Philippines. I graduated in the middle of US retrogression.:w00t: I took my first NCLEX, but failed. So I allowed life to happen & focused on putting food on the table. Now that I recently have managed to pick myself up, I applied for a re-exam and got hit by the tadaaaahh! CA BRN "concurrent" fever:bow: bahahhaha! I searched for inspirational songs online & I stumbled upon this video on You tube. This is a Filipino song with a title that means JUST WAIT in English. I copied & pasted the English translation from a you tube poster. I am not a Charice fan, I am relatively young for this song & I am not corny so haters, please don't hate. Instructions: make sure you're all alone dim your lights, put speakers on full blast, look for the video with lyrics of the original male singer of this song grab a tissue box and go to this link: feel the song, sing the lyrics OUT LOUD AND CRY!!!!! SING OUT LOUD, CRY OUT LOUD AND CRY IT ALL OUT!!! Then when your tear ducts dried up, take a glassful of water, have a long conversation with God, wash your face and take a long deep sleep. Upon waking up the following day, face the mirror, smile and say: THIS TOO, SHALL PASS! ONCE AGAIN WITH FEELINGS!!! - THIS TOO SHALL PASS! Starting this day, vow to block all depressing thoughts. No whining, no more crying. Be proactive and WORK ON A GAME PLAN TOWARDS GETTING THAT US RN LICENSE! Go, go, GOOOOO!!!! We can do it!! Once you have that license on hand, come back and post it here! :cheers:Goodluck to us all! Yeaaah!!!!
  2. Thanks Kuyafern. Citizens may be able to afford healthcare, but will they be willing to pay? hahhaha. I'm just kidding.
  3. very true. i understand that these requirements have been existent and that it's only now that the ca-bon is being strict about it. however, this is just my two cents about this.. i hope i don't sound too negative. this is not to complain. i am just being logical about this issue. after deciding that they (ca-brn) will strictly implement these requirements compared to how they handled applications in the past years, ca-brn should do so with consistency. for those are going to apply for ca nclex, they will have to comply with all the requirements. fair enough. for those who have been found eligible to test with active files and are merely re-testing, i believe that they should be allowed to take the test. otherwise, ca-brn should pull out or invalidate the licenses of all those who passed the ca nclex-rn with deficient requirements. by this, i mean all your classmates who graduated in the same school, took up the same subjects & clinicals, had the same course curriculum, graduated the same year. i am saying this not to bring down these people, but in the light of consistency and impartiality. again, ca-brn is saying that these requirements have been existent a long time ago, but they are being strict about it just now. that's an acceptable explanation. i believe that their rules are their rules and they are not for me to question. however, this "recent decision to be strict" with the requirements does not change the fact that the person i sat with in class, the person i went with during my clinicals, who graduated the same time as i did, who took up the same subjects & clinicals as i did, who went to the same school at the time that i did does not qualify for ca-brn's requirements just as i am not, right? and them passing the ca nclex does not change this fact. so, why deny someone who has the same credentials with active files the chance to re-test? i believe that this issue has to be resolved by an authority higher than the evaluators/analysts. if the ca brn directors can't be impartial about this, i think this has to be escalated to a higher authority. i'll work on this. if you have any helpful ideas, pls. post them here or send me a ym @[email protected]. thank you.
