I have been traveling fo one year (from GA) and have alot of questions regarding my taxes. I am single, no children, and don't own a home/property. I orginally was using my father's address (in GA) as my residence. I recently was informed by my recruiter that i couldn't use my father's address as my place of residence (Georgia). I have my car registered in Ga and also work PRN at my old hospital (GA). CCTC has taxed me on my housing and state taxes while on assignment. How can I safely avoid these taxes? According to my recruiter if I was audited my father's residence would not be acceptable and I could get fined. Is this true? It seems after getting taxed I am not making the $$$ I thought I would.
