Laura, I have put together a FB page to share all of our concerns and experiences. My friend and I got our packages on Monday. I did talk to Ms. Evans about the background check and she suggested waiting until the 1st because it needs to be no more than 60 days from clinicals which will begin mid Sept. I just got accepted into both Aiken and Augusta tech. How was your experience with Augusta Tech? Is it as bad as everyone makes it sound? How about Ms. Evans? Heard so many negatives, especially with the loss of their accreditation. Have you guys been told anything about that? Please write back as soon as you can. Anything will help. Thank you so much. I have decided to go to Augusta Tech. A lot closer to my house and graduation is a semester earlier than Aiken. Two big +'s for me. Has anyone visited the nursing labs? I am starting a FB page for the nursing class, if any of you is interested in joining please let me know. Got my acceptance yesterday and also got in at Aiken, dont know what to do. The lack of accreditation at Augusta tech scares me, but they are a lot closer to me and finish a semester earlier. What kind of negative things have you heard about Aiken? Please help, dont know which route to go

I had 40 points, and my friend who also got in had 35; so I am guessing the range is pretty large. As for the drug testing, I just registered online and will just wait to hear from the or I might just call the school in the morning. As for the notification, my friend got a thick envelope in the mail with her acceptance letter and other paperwork needed for the program, the LPN program. She said that if you get a thin envelope, it more than likely means you did not get in. Let's wait and see. I feel like calling them everyday and bugging them about, maybe they will get tired and rush:)

Called again this morning and was told they would be sent out after July 4th.

that just does not seem right, did you happen to get all A's on your cores? I also dont have a bachelors, lpn, or atc credits

she was told that in may when she turned in her application. How do you only get a 30 out of a 47 max? Did you have all your core courses finished? I dont mean to sound rude but it seems near impossible.

Let me make sure I am understanding this, you applied for the ADN program for the fall of 2012 and already got an acceptance letter? I was told nothing would be sent out until mid July. Do you mind me asking what was your PAX score? I am also really worried about the accreditation, and this waiting for the letter is driving me nuts.

I was told the letters would be sent out on the 20th, called again Friday and the health director said they encountered some problems and it would be another couple of weeks. I really hope it does not really take that dang long. I am dying here. Does anyone know if a 40 on the scoring matrix is average? I know the highest possible is a 47. I got a 2 and 3 on my teas.
