  1. Thank you, claire_0068. I think anywhere there is waiting time.
  2. Antsy123: No, you do not have to be on the waiting list. You go to the information session, fill out the application that they give you, they contact you mid/end of October to set up an interview around the second week of November. If you are accepted you start the following semester and complete the prereqs and coreqs with them.
  3. Chaotic94: Yes, I went and I turned in my application the day before it was due. I guess I shouldn't have waited so long but at least I turned it in. Did you end up applying? I'm going to apply for the regular Maricopa nursing program at the end of this semester. I just have to take my HESI test & I'm waiting on my fingerprint clearance card. Then from there, I'm going to try & do my co reqs as soon as I can so I can apply to the ASU CEP program.
  4. Yea, I was checking the PC website for a while then I saw there was a bit more of information on the SMCC so I was like YAYYYY! :yeah: Well I'll see you there then! @Chatotic94 are you looking into going to Phoenix College or South Mountain?
  5. Thank you! I should be done with my pre reqs by the end of fall '12 semester. I'm going to the information session on Tuesday so I'm hoping to hear good news . While I'm on the waiting list I'm hoping to finish up my co reqs so I can apply for the concurrent ASU program.
  6. Thank you CinDRnyc. I was looking into that but I have to finish my co reques before I apply but once I'm done with those I'm DEFINITELY applying for the CEP... much more worth it. Thanks for the information, you're very helpful! :)
  7. Thank you so much for your information. I'm getting ready to go to an information session and this is one of my last resorts. All other programs seem to have years and years of waiting lists . Thanks! :)
  8. Hi all, First of all I'm sooooo glad I found this website. I've been reading like all the time and I've gotten a lot of very useful information. Anyways, I was just wondering if anybody knew how long the waiting list for both Maricopa Community Colleges and Pima Community College were. I read on Maricopa's website that theirs is 7-8 semesters which is CRAZY :uhoh21:! I haven't heard too much about Pima's except some info on here which is like 2 years old. I just want to know. I wouldn't mind moving to the Tucson area and I live in Mesa right now so ideally I'd like to stay in the Phoenix area. Also andybody have any information about the Bilingual Nursing Fellowship Program? Are they still offering it? (I assume they are cause they have information sessions coming up) Is there a waiting list? Is it competitive to get in? Like I said, any info would help. Thanks, everybody! :thankya:
  9. Congrats! Good luck in the program! How long were you on the waiting list? Would you happen to know how long it is now? I'm finishing up my pre-requisites next semester (Fall '12) and should be applying end of Dec '12. I'm worried that it will take a long time . Any info would help. Thanks!
  10. I think they still have the program because they have information sessions coming up. I believe it's the Banner-Bosewell something or other that they stopped offering.
  11. Would any of yall happen to know if the nursing program has a waiting list?
