I spoke to the faculty at LSU BEFORE the hurricane. Hopefully, it doesn't delay the process. I really just want to get my phone call. :-(

So, a few people that I spoke to said that we should be getting a call sometime this month for our interview. I'm so nervous! I hope I get a call. If anyone gets a phone call for their interview, could you please post it that you have?

They've started looking at applications! My check was just cashed! Yay! I can't wait til they call for interviews. I pray to God that I'm one of the ones that they call!!!!!

I went ahead and sent in my housing application as well. Some girls that applied for the Fall 2012 told me that they had gone ahead and sent them in when they applied.

I know what you mean. Lol. I'm already freaking. I keep thinking I didn't sign the application form....even though I'm 99.8% sure I did.

It's alright to hand write that in. Also, that doesn't look bad. It looks neat and concise. In fact I wrote mine in like that for that section. I didn't type mine at all....all hand written. Good job! Have you sent in your housing application???

I was wondering, I sent in my Nursing application. However, I was wondering if we were supposed to send in our housing application as well at this time??? Does anyone know?

What I'm really worried about is if that transcript request sheet is attached to one of my transcript letters. What sucks is that we're not allowed to open the envelope to check. :-( However, the school did say they put it in there...I'm still worried though.

Hey, do you know if our HESI scores were sent automatically to the school after taking the exam? I used the code provided by LSU (in Baton Rouge) to sign up for the exam...I was just wondering. I'm freaking on if they have my HESI scores or not.

Do you remember what her GPA going into it was? Mine's a 3.25.

Okay. So my Nursing prerequisite GPA is a 3.25. My overall GPA is either a 3.0 or a 3.1. All of my prerequisites are done. My HESI score was 82.29%. Reading = 100% Grammar = 96% Vocabulary and General Knowledge = 84% Biology = 72% Chemistry = 84% Anatomy & Physiology = 48% Math = 92% So, I'm coming from LSU in Baton Rouge, and we haven't had Anatomy and Physiology yet. I know they want your score to be 80% or more. However, I'm freaking out now. I don't think these scores are good enough to get me in. Also, I think it takes 21 days before your HESI scores reach the school.....so would I even have enough time to take the exam again if I had to???

Thanks! I heard that the HESI is only 10% of what they're grading you on. I don't think they'll look too much into A&P since lsu students haven't had it yet. We take it in nursing school. I hope my essay gets me in. I think they accepted everyone from the fall applicants....

CONGRATS! I'm worried about being denied for Spring 2013. I have 3.25 pre-reqs and about a 3.1 overall GPA. I'm worried about doing bad on the HESI. Do you think I still stand a chance of getting in?

I'm applying for the Spring 2013 as well. I'm super nervous. Applications are due in August. I have a 3.2 for my pre-reqs and around a 3.1 overall. I'm freaking over the HESI. I don't think I'm going to do too good. :-( What sucks is that I haven't heard of anyone who HASN'T made it into the school....I wish someone could tell me if they've ever heard of someone being rejected from LSU nursing on the first try....

Okay, so I have a 3.25 GPA in my nursing pre-reqs. Overall, I have around a 3.0 or 3.1 GPA. I'm worried about the HESI exam. I have to take the HESI A2 V-1 with CT. What do y'all think the lowest score LSU would accept? I'm worried about not getting in. However, I haven't heard of anyone NOT getting in...has anyone here ever been rejected from LSU nursing school or heard of someone getting rejected?
