  1. Yea sounds good, I'm just not interested in the 30 unit option since i don't plan on staying in california when i'm done.
  2. Yea its horrible. I cant understand why its so difficult or expensive to attain this licensure.
  3. Welp, i was planning on applying until i found out that their bridge program is currently on hold. This is the case for a few other local CC as well.
  4. No worries those students are usually the ones who are capable of being very book smart, but when it come to hands on skills and pt interaction, their horrible.
  5. $20/hour full benefits, private duty shift care in SoCal
  6. Im just speaking more so in terms of the numerical amount. There are some CNA's and even caregivers making the same amount or even more as a LVN regardless of their experience. The scope for LVN's seems to be rapidly decreasing.
  7. Thats my point exactly. I do not have a problem with them being paid more, they have done the extra schooling and so forth, so pay them for it but why so much more. Here in california the pay difference varies but from what i am seeing and hearing it is $25 more and up.
  8. Aside from the obvious, i mean you can receive further education as a LVN also such as I.V therapy and so forth
  9. Why is there such a huge pay difference between RN and LVN's when, to me, there is not that big of a difference in our job description???!!! This is the main thing driving me straight back into the class room.
