I got ACLS certified when I was still in nursing school and it really helped me better understand different concepts in school but not so much interpret strips on the floor during clinicals.

Don't lose hope! The pop up doesn't always work for everyone. It doesn't necessarily mean you failed. Stay positive :)

I would agree with what people have said above. West Coast can be a great program if you're looking to get your degree fast and don't mind putting your head down and getting the hard work done. I recently graduated not too long ago and agree you should definitely do your pre-reqs somewhere else first to save money.

Has anyone been offered a position on the Vascular and GI Surgery unit? I interviewed a few weeks ago and am still waiting to hear back.

Chrisahern I know when I applied it took me exactly 3 months to get my ATT. My transcripts were also not sent until after I graduated so hopefully you can get your right to test in time :) Just keep studying and take it as soon as you can!

Application statuses have changed to "routed" (a generic status) so hopefully that means we will hear something soon :)

Based off previous threads, it seems like they go based off your preceptorship. Doesn't necessarily mean you'll only be chosen for the unit you worked on but it would be unlikely for you to get a ICU interview if your preceptorship was on an L&D floor.
