Anybody get accepted with a HESI score of 85? I know most are saying 90 or above… but I’m just curious if anybody was accepted with a score lower than 90.

Oh OK good! And you were just accepted so hopefully that means the old classes that aren’t prerequisites don’t effect anything. I’m getting ready to apply for the bridge program so just trying to make sure I have everything in order!

Do you know if they are looking at TCC cumulative GPA or just the program of study GPA for acceptance into the nursing program? I have a lot of transfer credits so my prerequisites GPA is really good but I have a lot of past grades from TCC years ago that are not prerequisites for the nursing program that aren’t so good and have kept my overall GPA pretty low.

I’ve had to retake many because a few were not transferred from a college I attended previously and I took humanities years ago and they recently changed their requirements to humanities needing to be a state core class which mine was not.

Do you guys know anything about the RN bridge program at TCC? Unfortunately this is the only recent forum I can find on TCC. They have a Summer bridge program that I’ll be applying to in January. Also, do you know if you retake a class does that grade replace the old one? Like for example I failed a prerequisite before but retook it and made an A. Does the old F still effect my GPA? Also, do they look at overall GPA or just prerequisite GPA? I’m so nervous because some of my prerequisites I’ve failed in the past but have recently retaken them and have made all A’s and B’s. So I’m worried these old F’s are going to haunt me!

Has anybody ever attended or plan to apply to the next RN bridge program at TCC? I have so many questions! I’m currently an LPN and plan to apply to the next program!
