  1. I looked over some case studies and reviewed pediatric assessments.

  4. It's also used to tell if ST elevation is an MI or if it's just early repol. Generally in someone you get than 40 ST elevation is going to be early repol.

    Look in V1. If the QRS is wider than normal and theres a P wave and a T wave it's a bundle branch block. No find your J point. Back track to the first deflection before the Jo point. If the deflection is up, it's right sided. If its down, it's left sided.
  6. Inferior MI's with right sided involvement will generally cause hypotension. That's because it's affecting the part of the heart that pumps blood to the rest of the body. If they're beta-blockers, their HR will stay in the 60-80 range and they can't compensate for a drop in BP. Any MI can cause hypotension since they all affect the heart and the hear has to be working to pump anything out. I know we're cautious with nitro in an inferior MI because if the additional drop in BO.
  7. Hey! I was just wondering if travel companies would accept two year experience as a paramedic when considering me for a travel nursing job. Or should I work as a tech in the ER while I work on my RN?
