  1. Gen, Yes, its the Fall term. I am going to start looking around at the scholarship information as well. I wish you the best and hope to see you around in Winter.
  2. Gen, I AM IN... Just got an email from the lady at DePaul, saying I've been accepted to the MSN program begining Sept 05. I am so excited. Yes... you're right next thing will be straighten out my finances... Hope to see you there in Spring... Good Luck!!! Twinkle
  3. I have spoken with Christine Werdrick several times. Besides her I've personally met Dr. Julie Donalek (who is very very helpful) and have met Dr. Susan Poslusny who is apparently the one who makes the decision. I have emailed Dr. Poslusny hoping to get an update on my application status. Will keep you posted.
  4. I looked at Rush, but if I can get into a MSN I would like to pursue it. The only reason to do an accelerate BSN would be to get RN faster. I'd rather do an associates quickly, spend less and get a RN.
  5. You mean early contenders for Spring if not taken in for Fall? I am not very impressed the way they have handled my application. I have a 3.36 GPA and GRE (Quan 613, Verb 548). I am sure if they had not screwed up on my transcripts I had a chance to get in this Fall. Anyways, I will call them and find out what is going. Have you any knowledge about other schools with direct msn. other than UIC and DePaul? Out of state is fine. What about a school that would offer associates degree, but consider out-of-district students?
  6. Gen, Thank you for your help. I hope I can get into the program this Fall. I wish you luck with your application.
  7. I turned my application in before the deadline. There was an issue with my transcripts being accidentally sent to the undergraduate office. Finally I am told that everything is in place and they're going to review it. Hopefully, I'll hear something from them soon.
  8. Have either of you heard from DePaul University yet? I applied for the Fall '05 term but still have not heard from them.
  9. Got a response back from Ellen "Microbiology must be completed prior to beginning the second year of the nursing program."
  10. I read that too... (Completion of Microbiology). I am hoping it is "Completion of Microbiology before entering the program".
  11. Donna, I think Micro has to be finished before entering the program. I do not have Micro yet. I am planning to taking A&P and Micro in Spring. I was wondering if you have any idea on the required HESI scores.
  12. I asked Donna about some instructors and she has emailed me. I will share the names with you tomorrow. As for the pre-requisites, I thought the only pre-reqs were HESI, a Bilogoy class (BIO 101) and a chemistry class (CHEM 151). Do I need anything else?
  13. Hello jitters and donnadoll I was wondering if either one of you could advise me on some of the classes I will be taking at COD. I would like to know as to what instructors are good for the following classes. Human Anatomy Microbiology Intro. to Sociology. Human Development and Growth. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
