If anyone is interested I'm hoping to arrange a get together / standard first aid/ cpr for health care providers session. I've contacted a trainer in London who can provide the course for $155 or less (less if we have more than 8 people). We all need it for September so I was hoping if we made it a get together then we'd be able to add a little fun to an otherwise sometimes not fun requirement. August 13 & 15th. If interested please message me.

Yes I found the facebook page and have become a member but thanks for the info. Looks like only 11 people have signed up so we're missing 45 others. I suppose word hasn't spread too far about the page. A girl I was talking to in the class ahead of us says the page will be a lifesaver so hopefully the others join us soon.

Congratulations Ashvg! I'm looking forward to meeting you in September. I recently accepted an offer to UWO I received on June 6th. I was never sent a waitlist email from them so they must now be getting close to filling the class. Looks like the average might be higher this year than in the past.

My average was 83.8% and I have until June 22nd to submit my response. When I spoke with admissions last week (when I was still anxiously waiting) I was told that they have to be very careful (which I think means admit people at this stage almost one at a time) because they can't go over by even one person. The clinicals are set up for exactly 56 people so they can't make a mistake and are very careful. She also said they have to give people two weeks for a decision. Good luck to everyone.

For those of you who are accepted/waitlisted elsewhere and still waiting on Western what is your GPA? Does anyone know where the scale is to transfer grades to a 4.0 scale? I see everyone posting about averages out of 4.0. I had an 81% on last 10 credits and am anxiously waiting for Western but am feeling less and less hopeful.
