hi lamarism! thanks for the links above..i really appreciate it. I have browsed those previously but didn't really take it seriously. by the way, is that $14950 the real thing? i registered/applied with the school online and it said in the "tuition fee" section $20, ---(i forgot the last 3 digits of the amount mentioned). so...what's the real deal???? there's really a big difference in the 2 figures mentioned..

hi lamarism! im interested in ARNTP for next year.. but 1 of my concerns is financial support. how much is the tuition fee for the whole course next year? it is good to know in advance, since there is still enough time to gather funds until the start of the term

hi shaneyney! who signed your statement of service? is it necessarily the director of nursing? im planning to have just my head nurse sign it.. i hope it would suffice..- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
hi dreamer_rn! where did you submit your papers? WA? VIC?- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
my friend told me that when they applied they submitted documents and processed their visa, when they got there they studied, then before finishing they submitted docs again for aphra registration and processed again for their new visa..cant remember anymore if he mentioned about transition visa or that was my other friend.. anyway, he said iron prog seems easier and more doable especially if i will do it myself. he had an agency to help him with all the process though.. goodluck!- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
hi ossimanila! i actually have a friend who did this arntp thingy early last year and now he is a registered nurse and practicing in Perth. i think he mentioned they did their aphra stuffs around 5-6 months before finishing their course, as far as i can remember. as for advisability, if you can qualify for IRON program then do it, it is faster and easier (less steps in the process). even my friend, himself, advised me to take iron, but if in any case i'd choose arntp then he said it's fine..- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

@gabrielle24 hmmm..i dont know how they are doing it there in your area but here in our place they are requiring bank transfers thru alraji bank, dunnu..maybe because the account of SC here is with alraji.. how did you pay for your SC exam???? however you paid for that use the same way. all they want is the receipt/proof that you paid. hahaha! yeah..employers tend to be very supportive most of the time.. -clinical and theory subj that's from our school right? so we'll just accomplish that when we get home. -detailed statement of service... hmmm..this is the employment certificate right? which needs to mention the # of years employed, # of bed capacity, fulltime/part-time, and area assigned to. is that all? what other details need to be included??? -detailed professional reference letter.. what are needed to be mentioned here? i think this is not much of a problem as we can personally make it and just ask our head nurses/ supervisor/ HR personnel to sign, right? of course we should make it appear that the signatoree is the one who made it..whatchutink??? inputs also from other forumers plsss...TIA! - Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
