Wait, so I thought they did calculate your ADN? It only makes sense that they should considering that's how you became licensed in the first place ....

I really hate that ... Have you called to ask what you can do to get in? Are you using a secondary choice? When I applied, I applied for the AGNP Primary and Acute. I got in the primary because I didn't have ICU experience. I'm so very sorry. I was looking forward to seeing you there. You have been the most positive person in this whole thing and I feel you deserve to be in too ... If I may ask, what is your overall GPA? Mine is a 3.5 so I know that's one of the other reasons I did not get into the Acute trek. Again, I'm sorry because you have been through this twice already.

And I would like to go ahead and ask what day everyone is planning to do orientation :)

I got my official letter today too.

When I emailed CB yesterday after getting my hopes up, I asked her if not being able to get into Blazernet was an indication that I was not admitted. She said that not in all cases is this true.

So apparently I shouldn't have given up hope so soon. I just rechecked my account about an hour and a half ago and I was prompted to update my old BlazerNet ID. When I went in I had the future students tab listed and was accepted into the Adult-Gerontology NP Primary Care program. Although this was my second choice, I'm still happy that I was accepted.

Congratz everyone else. I will be moving on now. I'm not quite sure why I didn't get in but we can't win them all. Good luck to you all!

I mean, I had outstanding recommendations from peers and doctor and now I just don't feel elitist enough for the program. I just don't even want to apply anymore.

So, let me ask this ... I have an old Blazernet account. Did you guys make a new one? Because I made a new one and I checked my old one. I'm just curious. Not that it matters but I do want to make sure I did it the right way to check. Also, how much experience do you all have? I have one year acute care, two years home health and hospice, one year LTC and administration/Care planning. Just curious.
