  1. I am a new grad too and the job market doesn't help matters much. You just have to go out there and pound the pavement. I literally googled any kind of healthcare around where I live and took my resume to them. I did this for about 10 days straight and today it payed off!! I got a full time job as a hospice nurse, which is what I have always wanted to do :). Happy day in this house hold---and it will be for you too soon, just gotta keep your head up!
  2. I did about 200 questions a day between ncsbn and prioritization book. I was getting like 60% on ncsbn----those questions are really hard!! But it really helped me on the actual test!
  3. I did the 5 week, but only because I was in the process of moving. I think the 3 week is plenty of time.
  4. It really wasn't that bad. I felt much more confident and I know that helped a lot!
  5. Yes! I didn't read all the material as much as I did the practice questions.
  6. I highly suggest the Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment book by LaCharity. The ncsbn course also helped me. Just remember to take your time. Make sure you really read the question, and know they are NOT trying to trick you. You will be fine the 2nd time----believe in yourself!
  7. Took it today and I am getting the good pop up on PVT!!! I am so very excited! 77 questions, but it still took me 2 hours. I wanted to make sure I took my time! Thank you all for your support!
  8. I feel much much more confident this time. I have done LaCharity's Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment book. The ncsbn's review course, and ATI practice questions. I am getting around 70% on ATI (they recommend you get at least 60%). I have these priority questions down to a T. I just hope and pray that by the end of the day on Monday I will have R.N. behind my name. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29: 11
  9. Don't be concerned with that---wait till you finish and retake that, I am positive that score will be much better!
  10. NCSBN for sure. I did Kaplan on my 1st try, and it did me no good!
  11. I really like ncsbn. Not to mention, they make the NCLEX!
