  1. You can check your university/college's philosophy outline so that you will know what topics will be covered.
  2. Amazing scores! Congrats! GO YOU!
  3. I'm not exactly sure what I want to do right now at this moment. Not trying to depend on the negativity, but I heard some horrible comments about RVCC's RN nursing school, the chair and her bestfriend. They are too greedy, and they do not care about nursing students' educations except for the fact that they want nursing students to pass NCLEX so that they get extra money (bonuses). To be perfectly honest, I don't know if I should believe these comments, but I am going to look into other programs such as Rutgers and TCNJ BSN programs. Yeah, I am enrolled for this fall. Here's classes I am taking this fall: A&P 1 Intro to Sociology (required for TCNJ/Rutgers BSN) Intro Philosophy (required for TCNJ/Rutgers BSN) US History: 1877 to Present (required for TCNJ/Rutgers BSN) Dynamics of Fitness & Wellness I have to take two prerequisite classes (A&P1 and 2) and TEAS before I can apply for RVCC's nursing school.
  4. Hello everybody! Hope you guys are still visiting here. I am currently attending RVCC as a pre-nursing student. Speaking of RN-BSN, I'd like to know what their ranking system works.

  6. Hello! I hope you're still visiting here, whatttdo4. I have a question. While I had completed Calculus 1 and Calculus 2, am I still required to take Statistics?
  7. Hey ark88! I'm completely deaf. In other words, I don't use hearing aids nor cochlear implants and I don't talk at all. This may be off-topic post, but I really need answers. I don't have any luck finding answers to my below questions here. I hope you can answer one of these questions. Being unable to speak and lipread, what do you think will affect me as a nursing student and future male nurse? What hospitals do a great amount of deaf people usually go to? Are you going to use interpreters for clinical nursing program? Ignore this if you don't know sign language.
  8. Hey everybody! I'm completely deaf. In other words, I don't use hearing aids nor cochlear implants and I don't talk at all. As a currently college student, I recently changed my major from Computer Science to Nursing. I've always wanted to help the deaf community who is in the need of help from deaf nurses, doctors, physician assistants and much more. I got a a few questions. Being unable to speak and lipread, what do you think will affect me as a nursing student and future male nurse? What hospitals do a great amount of deaf people usually go to? To Deafies, did/do you use interpreters for clinical nursing program? How does/did it goes? Any tips? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Hello everybody. Forgive me if there's already a topic about the similar title. FYI, I'm now a sophomore college student. I've always wanted to be a physician assistant, but I decided to change my path for personal reasons. Since I've heard a little more about nursing informatics, I've became strongly interested in it. But...the problem is, I am majoring in Computer Science (loving it). Suppose I still want to get my CS degree, what should I do in order to be a nursing informaticist? Majoring in Nursing for another four years? Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.
