  1. I just started @ LSU's CRNA program this August as well, and am waiting on pins and needles for word from Administration as to the fate of our program during this time of turmoil. I have to believe that if the Medical and Dental students' programs will be continuing within the next 3 weeks, that the CRNA students will be given the same opportunity, although I'm sure the task of coordinating classes and clinical sites must be overwhelming at best for those in charge. I live about 50 miles west of New Orleans and our community only sustained minimal damage. I received an Email Saturday from one of our fellow classmates who was finally evacuated from Charity Hospital after a week! She referred to it as a "hell hole". I can't even imagine what they must have gone through there. RiverParish, hope our class meets up again very soon, in Baton Rouge, and INTACT!

  5. Great link! I've heard alot about the concept of socialized medicine, but never straight "from the horse's mouth". BTW, I've been reading this board for quite some time and have enjoyed your input in many threads. -Amy
