Do you mind saying what was on the exam that wasn't in the book? Not the exact questions of course but something similar. I did some practice questions on a random website that I found and some questions where very specific about the parts of the brain that I know are not covered in the book. Just wondering how in depth it goes. Thanks [emoji4]

Thank you for the feedback. I'm suppose to take the teas on Nov 6. I'm super nervous about it. I took the online practice test as well. 61 the first time and I took it again yesterday and got a 70. 👎🏼 I'm totally not happy with that! Just feeling discouraged ☹️

How was the science section ? I've gone over everything in the book but when I take practice test there are questions that were not covered in the book. I've been taking practice test and not doing as well as I hope. I'm really worried I'm not going to do good. 😕

I did think if I were to take it through RCC it would give me an extra week to study. More time is always better but I kinda just want to get it over with. I can't wait till December to find out who gets in. It just seems so long from now! Lol

Has anyone been invited to take the teas at RCC ? I got an email today inviting me to take the teas with them. I already paid to take the test on the 29th and there are no refunds so I think I'm just going to stick with my original date.

Im a mom ! I try to study when my kids are at school or asleep at night. I can't study when they are awake like you said, it's like they know and need all your attention lol. I'm taking my teas on October 29 in Redlands. Stay motivated and determined ! It's totally worth it. Wishing you the best of luck :) I hope we all do well.

If you paid for the test I think you can transfer your payment to another date. I believe there is a contact email or number to find out, check on the receipt. If you didn't need to pay then you can just pick another site/date. You don't need to take the TEAS before the end of the month. Nov. 6th is the deadline to submit your score. I'm taking the TEAS on Oct 29 in Redlands. I want as much time as I can to study. Hope this helps! :)

I received a confirmation email a week after I submitted the application. Call to just make sure. The application process closes on Wednesday.

I'm also taking the teas at the Redlands site on 10/29. A little over 5 weeks to go. Going to be studying like crazy. Just purchased the practice test on the ati website. Hope it helps.

I appreciate you taking the time to write all this. I've been looking for a recent post. I will be applying this month at chaffey only because its closest to me but I'm really hoping I get in somewhere else. Do u mind saying where you transferred to?

I wonder if I can put the same class for the 2 slots? I'm going to ask. I was also thinking of putting my STATS class for critical thinking but not sure if it applies to it. I'm also at 45 points before TEAS but it's still possible so don't loose hope :) we just have to do good on the TEAS.

I'm a little confused on that part just because when I went to see the educational advisor for nursing she filled out all the classes that are equivalent because I do not attend RCC and there is no section for just Math on the paper she gave me and for the critical thinking slot she put my intermediate algebra class. Not sure if that is calculated in the GPA. I'm going to email her tomorrow. I don't want to risk filling it out wrong. I haven't taken eng 1b yet. Do you know how many points you have before TEAS?

Chem is not calculated in the GPA. For the Math and critical thinking classes did you put the same class or two different classes ?

I spoke with someone that's part of the nursing process and she suggested to reserve a spot at another location (she suggested Loma Linda ) at end of September/early October just to be safe. She said some students waited till the notifications went out and all the places were booked. She said Lima Linda was the least expensive about $75

The "back door" to do an application is to go to cccapply.org, select RCC as home college, then set your major as: AA Communication Studies. There is 2 options for Communication studies pick the first one.

Hello. I was just wondering how anyones more recent experience has been in the chaffey RN program? I will be applying this week when applications open up. Hello. Just in case anyone is having a similar problem as I was having about applying for RCC if you have never attended there is a "back door" way to apply. Thank goodness for Jackie Urena. Hello everyone ! First time posting anything on this site. I'm applying to the 2016 spring RN program.yay!! I'm super excited and nervous at the same time. I have an appointment with Jackie Urena on Thursday to see exactly were I stand on the points system. I do have a question for all of you. I went to the pre nursing meeting a couple weeks ago and she said we need to apply to the college to have a student ID because we needed it in order to apply to the nursing program so I was applying today and it said the application process was closed and would not let me apply I had to choose the term and there were only 2 to choose from summer 2015 and fall 2015. I chose fall and it said it was closed for fall. I'm so worried it's not going to let me apply and I won't get a student ID. I wouldn't want something as small as this make me wait another semester!! That would be horrible!!! Does anyone know what I can do ? Thanks!
