  1. First of all i did use the pvt trick and of course it did work....but i was still somewhat reserved with going out to tell all my family and friends about passing until i was able to obtain the PV quick results for 7.95 do the poll i was surprised to see the poll results were at like 93%. What I did to study....I used the kaplan book with the CD. I also was able to use a saunders nclex review book. I would do all the questions, Reviewed all the rationals even if i didm get the correct answer. If i came across something that needed to be reviewed, well thats what i would do. I would iether look up in the appropiate book, or just simply google it. I also wrote notes, like I used a sinlge subject notebook, and i guess you could say I developed "cliff notes" . Periodically I would go thru and study my cliff notes for review. I made sure I new all the important lab values too. I probably did anywhere between 1000 to 1500 questions I also looked at AllNUrses.com, got some great inout from website and other students I studied every night after work. At the test i was like holding my breath when I approached quest 75....then quest 80...the computer did mnot shut off I was bummed and actually started to get some anxiety, so i had to dig heels in and just relaxed....I always planned on taking the full exam...so that was it...then I remember seeing quest 133...then I am guessing I answered anothe 10 or so then the comp shut down, so i am guessing i ansered another 10 or so...so somewhere around 150 quests or so...I did feel good when I left Also a friend of mine just tested a day or two prior to me and she failed the compt shut off at 77 or so for her...that it the first I ever heard, becuase usually thats always a pass.. I usually do not post....Im a guy lol...but if this can help one person..... So good luck to all!!!
  2. Hi all well I took the nclex rn this morning, I answered about 150 questions plus or minus the last time I looked i seen 133 then I am guessing I answered at least another 10 or 20 questions Well i already did the pearson vue trick and got the "good pop up" Anyways I am so afraid of celebrating....Is this trick 100% ?? Thanks to all in advance for ur time Kevin
  3. Hi all I am testing inthe state of Michigan. I am able to go on line and can actually see them approving parts of my application, for instance the last item that they had on their checklist was my official transcript from my college...well finally that was processed, whoo hoo....so that is it, that was onTuesday late PM 7/31 today is 8/3 I still have not recieved my ATT letter....so my question is...in this ATT letter is there a code or something that allows me to input when I go to Pearson Vue and try to log in??? or can I go and try to register for the NCLEX??? thx :) I am so ready to take this NCLEX Thx in advance for ur time Kevin
  4. thx for the inpu and good luck on your test...if u can let me know what you think about kaplan quests being harder than on the actual nclex??
  5. My experience.....no matter what shoe type you wear, your feet are going to be sore, it will take some time for you to get used to being on your feet like that. I never did wear the danscos, but i worked with nurses who did and their feet still got sore. I am told though if you do get the dancos you should wear them say for 2 hours of your shift.then put your sneakers back on...then say the next day wear the danscos for three hours then change into sneakers again and so on and so on...to me danscos are like starpping 2x4 blocks onto your feet....but i know some nurses they swear by them.....so for you its trial and error....to see what you prefer hope this helps :)
  6. Hi all I am just wondering......I have been studying using kaplan book, I have been taking practice tests and scoring between 58 and 64 maybe 65 once or twice. My question?? would this be a pass on the real NCLEX??? Also are the questions in the kaplan book harder than whats on the actual nclex or are they pretty much the same caliber??? Thanks guys in advance for your time and help Kevin
