Itt Tech Institute Breckenridge School of Nursing program is utterly ridiculous. They are luring uneducated optimistic people in daily . People need to wake up and smell the coffee because debt shouldn't be an option period.

Your resume means a lot and says a lot about you, sometimes you have to pay for a quality education! The staff is caring and loving and very much so Christian like! I fell in love with this school and will get my BSN from Olivet : Good luck Suey!

I am fortunate to be one of the luckiest students to have financial aid, scholarship funds, and extra grant money, so the loans that I might have to take out for the rest of my expenses is not much as a average car! Not bad compared to moat colleges, but keep in mind your gen eds need to be completed before applying! Hey it's a BSN private University and they arw nationally accredited!

SummitRN, you are exactly right! I've heard and know that the ITT Technical Imsritute Nursing program is a waste of time, money, and stress. People try to get the easy way out of getting a nursing degree without finding out that their short cut can cause major distruction.This year I start my BSN classes in the Fall! I am so excited, because I earnestly worked hard academically to deserve a extraordinary priveledged spot in an incredible program! I heard that once you graduate fro ITT,, it's hard to find employent almost immediately. Most people want the title as RN, but at what cost??? I know that the economy is in distress but if you're in nursing for the money, shame on you and may God have mercy on your soul!

Hi, how are you doing Khalilahmr!!! Yes it is possible for you to get your BSN first!!! I am too a student at PSC!!! After taking the recommended courses for entrance into a BSN program, I will be starting an excellent program this Fall!!! Sometimes you have to do your own research about different Nursing schools!!! I figure if all nursing programs are hard and rigorus, I may as well attend a University rather than a community college!! I also heard a rumor about hospitals not hiring associate degree nurses off back, so leave your options open!!! Good luck!!!

Hi!!! I was just wondering about the BSN program at Olivet!!! In my situation, I have completed all of my general Ed's and science course work including General Chemistry!!! Olivet was recently at my school Prairie State College, where as they were recruiting more students to attend their school. They advisor that was representing the school made me feel extra warm with attending their program instead of PSC!!! In order for me to apply at Olivet, I need to take a medical terminology class. Soooo, I'm currently a CNA (not a nurse)!!! Most of the nurses that I been coming accross has been telling me to get my associates first before I consider along with my BSN!!! I know that it is in my heart to be a nurse, but I am still confused about which degree I should grasp onto first.... HELP

That's exactly why I'm considering a community college instead of a private college or a university. Thanks everyone for this news feed, it's really helpful in making the decision of the NURSING PROGRAM that fits my location and budget! Thanks a million

hello, i'm back!!! well, this year i will be completed with all of my classes as far as applying for the adn program at prairie state!!! i'm not giving up my hopes and dreams as being a nurse!!! this year i will have the whole entire spring semester to study the heisi!!! i will have at least a 115 in my rank score!!! i also expects to do exceedingly well on my heisi a2 exam next year!!! can you give me some feedback on people that retaken the heisi 2 times or more?? was the questions the same???

It's all true about your rank score and your performance on the Heisa A2 exam!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! I JUST RECIEVED MY LETTER AND IT WASN'T EVEN SENT CERTIFIED MAIL LIKE THE REST OF THE STUDENTS THAT HAD GOTTEN ACCEPTED!!! IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING THIS COLLEGE, THEREFORE YOU MUST KNOW IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR LETTER THE SAME DAY OR WITHIN THE SAME TIME AS THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAD RECIEVED THERE LETTER, THEN MOST LIKELY, YOU WASN'T ACCEPTED!!! I know that you all are over joyed about your acceptance letters into the ADN PROGRAM!!! I AM SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU ALL, BECAUSE YOU WORK SOOO HARD TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE IN LIFE!!! DON'T GIVE UP!!! Thanks Jasel for the advice!!! As of right now my mind is all ready made up that if Prairie State College doesn't accept me, I plan to attend another University right away!!! I do live in the district, I done well on the heisa also!!! As of right now, I am sitting by the window looking out for the mail man before I go to class!!! lol TALKING ABOUT A NERVOUS WRECK!!! I know that I have to try not and worry to much about getting accepted into the program, but also I have to worry about completing the program!!!

Good morning Jasel!!! I am also a pre-nursing student seeking acceptance into the ADN program at Prairie State College for the FALL 2012!!! As of now I am waiting on my letter of acceptance from Prairie State College!!! HONESTLY, these few past weeks has been a nervous wreck for me!!! I might not have all of 100 points as of now, but I do have all my sciences completed with "A's & B's"!!!! So my question to you JASEL, is how much of an effect does the point system have on your admittance in the ADN program???
