Chamberlain College Of Nursing- FNP program
SPJJMommy...with taking the classes they way you are, how long will the entire program be for you? I am looking into switching to Chamberlain because I have a huge amount of group work in my current program and I do not like it. I saw somewhere that Chamberlain's program was 2 years but when you look at the curriculum on the website it's around 2 1/2 years. Thanks!

Maryville FNP entry class of January 2014
I was also accepted to start January 13, 2014. I am very excited but also a little nervous. I had my welcome call/webinar last week. Haven't been able to access my student account yet. I have no idea how to start a Facebook page. Does anyone know how to do this?

Indiana Wesleyan University Online
neko2010. I work full time plus some call. This is a very doable program for you as it is only 1 class at a time and there are breaks throughout the program. Good luck.

St Joseph's College of Maine FNP program students
Tracey - The admissions advisor clarified a little today...he meant there aren't cohorts for the bsn but there are for the msn. I have a couple preceptors lined up already. How many did you need and all fnp's or did you need docs as well? Also, was your 2 years for the bsn to msn only or the rn to msn?

Thanks TraeyMarino for the advise & info! I specifically asked the advisor of there were cohorts for clinicals and he said no they are all on your own when you're ready. So this is the 2nd college who has flat out lied to me! Did you do the rn to msn fastrack or only the bsn to msn for 2 years total time? If I stay where I'm at I have at least 3 1/2 more years to go and that is if there is no delay between the bsn and the msn.

I'm just looking into the RN to MSN Fastrack. I am currently about 1/2 way through the Rn to BSN with Indiana Wesleyan. Considering the change of St. Joe's will transfer some of my BSN courses. Overall are you happy with the program Canchaser & Kt3nrs? How long total has this program taken you? The advisor at St. Joe's says since it's self paced he can't even give me an average of how long it takes people which is bull Thanks!

federal student loans
I am looking for some help in regards to student loans. I have just started an online program for RN to BSN. The program runs from April 2012 to November 2013. I am eligible for $12,500 for student loans. My concern is that the tuition for the remainder of 2012 is less than $12,500. If I take the balance to use for other school related uses like child care & transportation, how do I know I will receive another $12,500 for Jan to Nov 2013? I have done my FAFSA for 2011-2012 and 2012-2013. Should I take the balance and put it in a savings account just in case? I'm afraid if I go ahead and use that money towards other expenses that I'll then find out that I'm not getting any other funds for 2013. Any information is appreciated! Thanks.
