  1. Still kind of in shock I didnt get in for the fall. I had a 3.45 and a 1060 on my GRE. 86 Hours volunteer with a group of As in complimentary course work like medical terminology. My adviser also had good things to say about my application and essay. I dont think they really know what the hell theyre talking about now.
  2. I received my letter today from said they were sorry they couldnt offer me admission, but I am on the "alternate" list. If a spot opens up in the summer they willl send me an admissions offer. My question is, how often does this happen? Is it likely a program will send me an offer of acceptance given they placed me on the alternate list? I had heard this particular program gave you automatic admission for anything above a 3.0... now know that is not true. Now I cast doubt on the rest of my apps and have no idea what I will do for the fall if I cant get in to a program.
