cebu here...try perpetual succour hospital, they are accepting nurse trainee... for 3mos its 2500 i guess...then after that program they said u will be in an "on-call" status then eventually after some evaluation, (if ur lucky) u will be absorbed..word of mouth says that its the highest paying private hospital in cebu

Hi, I'm ken. I just graduated my BS Nursing course last Mar2011, took the local (Philippines) board exam and fortunately passed it. Now I'm currently working as a nurse 'trainee' or just equivalent to the infamous nurse volunteer. Honestly, being a nurse here wouldn't earn me much. We'll the trend is, after people earn their 2-3years experience they apply for nursing jobs overseas. My (naive) question is. After those steps I mentioned above, what should I do next? Or can anyone give me an overview of the process that I would take to eventually get that job overseas. I know there are those international tests, but can anyone provide me like this should you take first bla bla... Maybe it's too early to ask about this, or worry on this. But I'm just so curious and impatient. Well I hope someone can provide enlightenment. And thanks in advance.
