You can go to the bookstore, give them your SS# and they look in the system and tell you if you have a voucher and the amount of the voucher.

okay guys after standing in line for 2 hours I got my ebooks packet and my nurse pak. It feels really good to have something done.

This is so stressful. It does not seem as though any of the dates we were given mean anything to anyone but us. I'm waiting on my book voucher because I want to purchase my ebooks and my nurse pak at the same time. I hope to get the book credit tomorrow but if not, I'm waiting until Saturday when the book vouchers are available.

Does anyone know how to self register for BlackBoard? I have the password but I dont know if I log into my Blackboard first.

I'm a new student as well. I plan on getting white tennis and once I graduate I will get nurse shoes. I accepted my financial aid on LOLA maybe two weeks ago. Today I got a letter that showed a credit. Did anyone else get this letter?

BundokSaint The lectures with powerpoint sounds ideal to me. I would have my notes on the printed pages and have everything in one place. I hope they find away to incorporate powerpoint and put the slides on blackboard. I have made up my mind to get what they recommend and move on to something else. I will buy a hard copy of the drug book. How much is the nurse pack and does it have everything we need in it?

I wish I could relax. I dont think of anything but nursing school and getting my kids ready for school.

I'm really scared. My mind is all over the place. I'm locked into hurry up and wait. After Fridays orientation I dont know which way to move. Someone told me to calm down and do what they tell me to do. If they want me to get the ebooks, get ebooks. There will be things to stress over and this is not one.

I think its what they want us to do but its not required. I looked up all the books on Amazon and the total cost for paper back was $477. 00 which is $10.00 more than the cost of the ebooks. I dont think we will use all of those books. In one of the seminars yesterday some of the SAC members said not to buy every book on the list because you dont use them. did anyone buy there nurse pac yet? if so where?

Today I met Nurseflow. She informed me that we had a class together. (which was cool) How do you guys feel about the eBooks? I dont like it. I'm trying to get rid of my negitive feelings about it and do what they want. I knew there would be issues with the new curriculum. I'm curious as to how you all feel.

My plan is to try for the $100 parking too. I was having info over load today. Tomorrow we get the real meat and potatoes. I cant wait to find out what books we are going to need. Do you think we will do clinicals at the hospital or will we be on campus? Are you going to use the SAC tutoring in august?
