I am with you I am hoping to get in for May at Irving campus. From other people and threads I have been told their program is good and everyone so far has been happy with it. They say you have to keep up on your reading to stay ahead! I was supposed to start last term but some of my transcripts were delayed! I have 4 kids and one of them is graduating in May! I agree with the wing and prayer I need that as well! What classes are you taking?

Last time I paid for downtown parking it was $8.00 all day! Some places were $10.00 all day! I am going to take train. Downtown parking is a mess it might be better on weekends if there is not a big event going on.I do hope the weather holds off until late Sunday! See you on Saturday! Which campus? I thought you could remediate the course? So sorry you are so close!!

West Coast University
It is a very good school, fast pace, and you must stay on top of the courses!! I don't suggest you work, yes the tuition is extremely expensive! Are you in Dallas or California? There are several other post on this school, post your questions and I will gladly answer them. I have friends in several classes here and they love it!!

LVN-RN programs in Texas that aren't so competitive?
I know you probably do not want to put yourself in more debt, but WCU-Dallas has a great LVN-BSN program and there are several people in the program now and in some of my classes.

West Coast University
I am sure more student of WCU would answer you if you post on the other forums! Please go take a look at the other forums I have communicated with others on. WCU is very highly accelerated program and they really work with you in your courses but you must put alot of effort into it. If you have a support system and don't work I would go for it. The cost yes it really high but if you take the other factors of wait-listed getting all your prereqs then its worth it. Please ask any questions maybe I can answer them, where are you in the process of applying and what classes are you lacking. I have friends that just graduated and they all have jobs and there are some people starting Nursing core this fall and are doing well. Hope that helps.
