  1. I'm a current UF student!
  2. I got in as well!
  3. To be able to get accepted in any of UF's nursing program you have to have at least a 2.8.The average for the last Generic BSN applicants was around a 3.7 -3.6.You will most likely not get in with anything below a 3.0.Hope this helps!
  4. I took the online TEAS about two weeks ago, and there is a timer on top of each page that counts down as well as telling you what page you're on and how many questions.
  5. I have a 3.9, and I definitely agree with MrFocker! I can't believe how fast everything is going and in almost a month we will all know if we got in or not. Good luck to everyone!!
  6. Hi NaomiD! My overall GPA right now is a 3.87 - but im in the process of taking micro, physio, and nutrition because I changed my major to nursing the beginning of my sophmore year so that GPA will probably go down a little bit. I don't have any medical experience, but I have done some volunteering through the college of nursing and at a day care on campus becaus I'm interested in pediatric nursing! I heard that you don't need to have any direct medical experience, but I believe it would definately help boost your application!
  7. Hi everyone!I currently go to UF and applied for the nursing school! So nervous and anxious waiting for the letters. I currently live in Gainesville Place, around a 10 minute drive from campus and there is a Bus route #38 that picks you up in the appt complex and takes you right by shands and hpnp which is the nursing building. I definitely like it here, and there are a ton of current nursing students that live here. They offer 2/2 and 4/4 with room ate matching if you don't have anyone you know to live with!I am also applying to USF and FGCU (for spring 2013 because I missed the fall deadline for FGCU) but I definitely want to stay here at UF.If I don't get in I am going to be subleasing my apartment to whoever so I won't have to pay to break my lease. I currently pay 439 a month and have two roommates and one empty bedroom
