  1. I'm so sorry that this is so belated! But I got in as well! I can't wait to meet you all. And to all of those who did not get in this time, I encourage you to reapply - that is the only way I got in!
  2. Hi, I also applied for the October 2013 Cohort. I was very much hoping that we would have heard back from UWosh by now. I'm a re-applicant, and when I did not get in, I was NOT notified by the end of the month the decisions were to be made by, I ended up receiving the news via a telephone call I placed to the advisor. so now I am getting paranoid as this month passes by and I have not received any word yet. I am super nervous!! Please let me know when you receive your decision from UWosh and I will do the same.
  3. Hi Katie, I applied to the October 2012 cohor for UW's Accel. BSN program. At this stage, I am so very nervous. I made the mistake of reading some posts from past applicants who seem way more qualified than I do and now I am physical nauseated from anxiety. HOLD MY HAND, WILL YOU? Please let me know how you fare during this process and I will do the same. Best wishes to you, Tracy
  4. Hi PD888, If someone "official" at Oshkosh's Nursing program gave you the advice that your courses would be acceptable substitutes for General Chem I & II, I would not go without a good fight. I know the curriculum and syllabus are important indicators of whether or not a class is a suitable replacement for another class. Find out if your professor teaching the chemistry classes you are taking would be willing to vouch for whether or not the material taught covers the same material contained in Gen. Chem I & II and is willing to put it in writing. Definitely call Oshkosh and find out if there is another way to fulfill the requirements needed of an applicant and do remind them that you are taking the chemistry classes you are because you were advised by Oshkosh that this would be an acceptable strategy for gaining the chemistry credits needed. I would also find out if CLEP credits would be acceptable. You can take a College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Test to showcase your knowledge and give you full credits for a full year of college level Chemistry. Best of luck to you!!!
