  1. Thank you. I'm thinking about seeing if I can find someone a bit higher up to email. Maybe I've moved on to the next stage of grieving, but I'm just mad now. It said in The checklist, they needed a copy of the SS card for the #, I don't see how a signature affects the #. They had my signature on so many other things! Like my DL! I wish my local school would drop the lottery, it's just wrong!
  2. Thanks :/ I'm mostly mad at myself. This is my third year trying to get in somewhere. I've mostly been dealing with lotteries, second time applying with SJDC. I'm taking the last class to get my AS degree, then I will retake my teas for a high score... Hopefully I can get into stockton, or somewhere else soon. I'm so sick of this game. This was just heart breaking
  3. it wasn't mentioned at all actually, just a copy of your SS card was needed for the # to do background checks etc.... I emailed them, but as of yet no reply. I'm so depressed over this right now. It'd be one thing if it was my grades or... Something bigger! But this? It's totally my fault, but maybe a phone call or email telling me to correct this would have been nice.... Personally, I couldn't do that to someone.
  4. I just learned I was disqualified because I failed to sign my social security card. I am completely sick right now. I feel like a complete idiot. I hope those who were in this weird little group with me get in. I'm going to go crawl in a hole and cry now. i just looked up the checklist, it doesn't say signed SS card.... But still, I'm an idiot
  5. Ok, well I'm glad I'm not the only one. That was a good ides to attach the ATI receipt. I'm just going to assume they're too busy to get back to us.
  6. Just a heads up, after running around trying to figure out where to hand it in. It's the information desk in admissions & records, not HSN department in the Locke building as the packet states.
  7. ?: I sent an email asking for confirmation they have received my teas test scores last week (I think on 6/16). I still haven't heard anything! I'm getting really nervous bc everything is due tomorrow. I hope they're just really busy and haven't responded to emails? Maybe? I just sent another email, just in case they did not get the original.
  8. I'm handing my documents in on Monday. I'm so nervous they won't like something, anything! Lol. I'm still trying to keep my excitement down, but my fingers will be crossed tightly! I wonder how many people were asked to send in supporting documents?
  9. They emailed me saying they have open spots, based on my score they are inviting me to send in supporting documents, my deadline is June 26. The only extra points I have is a license and 200+ hrs of exp. only giving me 1 point, lol. Other than that everything is fairly straight forward. Im nervous to get excited about this, it's a strange situation, I mean... Everyone else was accepted so long ago! I wonder if there will be a alternate list at this point? I'm picking up my official transcripts tomorrow, I plan on hand delivering everything Wednesday. This is going to be a long wait! I'll just keep my fingers crossed until July 14th
  10. We won't know for sure until July 14th, I wonder what the registration process will be like for us then???
  11. Well.... You're just scaring me now! I've been working on getting in somewhere for 3 years now, this is my second time applying with SJDC. If I don't get in this time, I will retake my teas, all my other pts are really good, I have A's in all sciences except for physio (B) and English (B). I only got 78 on my teas though :/ (I messed up my scantron about 1/2 way through the math section *DOH*! I was just looking at the schedule, what's the deal with the 6:30 am class?
  12. I called and it went to voicemail. I was able to track down my supervision :) I'll just send in the letter to be safe. I'm picking up my transcripts next week, then off to Stockton I go!
  13. About the supporting documents: Can someone clarify this for me, Under Criterion 1D: current licensed healthcare worker w/ direct patient care.... it is asking for a copy of my current license, it doesn't say specifically for a document of proof for the 200 hrs of volunteer exp. Should I send it anyway? I have a certificate stating I have 240 hrs of extern exp. from the school I attended, would that be enough? Should I get a letter from my supervisor? I'm not sure if I even need it... Better be safe than sorry, right? It will be hard to track down the supervisor though.
  14. Wow, lucky us.... Maybe? Do they make more cuts after asking for supporting docs (provided your documents are in line with your application)? I'm fighting getting my hopes up, I'll just keep my fingers crossed!
  15. Hi everyone! So long story short.... I just received notice from SJDC to send in supporting doc's, very unexpected!!! So.... What does this mean? This is my third year in waiting to get into a program, is it safe to get excited maybe?
  16. I counted 357, not that it makes a big difference. Less is more though :) 2 more days!!!!
  17. My friend forwarded to me, I have yet to get it... looked in all my folders as well as webadvisor's student email.... calling them tomorrow! Anyway, they are posting the qualified list on the 23rd at 12:00 :)
  18. Ya a friend of mine got one to, but I have yet to get it I'm trying to not freak out about that, I mean they already told me I've qualified for it but still! I want the damn email! lolSoon we'll know!!!
  19. yes, just looked it up HS transcripts are required for the LVN program.
  20. Apparently she recieved a rejection letter from LMC for the LVN program. I guess she failed to mail in a high school transcript. I didnt apply to the LVN program, but I did not know you were required to do so? Maybe she took a required course in high school? I don't know. I'm just assuming I'll know one way or the other within the next month :/ I'm kinda happy I don't know which day it is, too many sleepless nights. I might have my husband open any future mail from LMC and suprise me when the big day comes! Save myself from the anxiety!
  21. A friend of mine just posted on facebook that LMC isnt happening for her.... maybe she got a rejection letter? Meaning she didn't meet requirments?
  22. Thank you! This is the last basket for all my eggs! I'm concidering going the health sciences route if this doesn't pan out. *fingers crossed* This wait is awful! But you already know that! Good luck with your studies and finals!
  23. I'm stalking this thread! lol! I've applied to LMC for fall '12. It looks like they do the raffle... I mean lottery in June judging from the previous post. I was just wondering if you may have heard anything about how many they will be taking in?
  24. I really wish they would give us some stats on the points, what the cut off was and how many you recieved, some kind of break down! I'm really curious. I'm also wondering if they took my first TEAS score? I should have used language profiency even though my ASL is some what less then...
  25. I didn't get in either My GPA was about 3.6 and I got 78 on the teas. I did take the teas twice. I didn't study the first time, the second time I had a scantron error in the math portion, had to re-enter things on the scantron, super stressed on time. All the other sections I did very well on. 80's and 90's the math really brought me down. IDK if I will be able to take the teas again next year for a better score or not? I don't know if I really see a point. I have all A's and B's in my pre-req's. So I think I am left with getting into a CC and transferring to CSU for my BSN? I am so scared because LMC is a lottery and chabot has points, so I figure the same will happen. Whatever is meant to be will be. I'm also thinking about majoring in health sciences... its out of my hands and I did the absolute best I could do.
