  1. Hello fellow classmates! I got accepted to Barry to start Jan 2013, Anyone chose Orlando for there clinical site and need a roommate? If so, please contact me at sbnurse97@gmail. Thanks
  2. i applied January and got an intervie for april 30. I got invited April 7th. Good luck
  3. i am 27 and I just got accepted to start the program in Jan 2013.
  4. 14 units, but I look at it as 6 classes, that's challenging when added on to your clinicals. I'm definitely doing the fall headstart courses although I was unable to do the summer one.
  5. Wow Joy, that had to have been some kind of a record, 22 is pretty young, Congrats on your accomplishments. You have a long career ahead of you.
  6. ufblondi, don't panic, i'm sure it will be alright. Be patient, although I'm sure its hard for you to do so right now. Waiting can be nerve racking.
  7. wow, an instructor got fired! that's horrible. She must have been really bad for it to get to that, honestly speaking.
  8. Hey Eve, my first choice is also Orlando, maybe we can be roomies. Are you having to move from a different state like I am, or do you already reside in Orlando?
  9. I have the same question, i'm taking a chemistry class this summer, but I'm not sure what to take. I know they acknowledge just about any chemistry class, like biochem or organic or inorganic chem. I'll probably start with a basic chem class and then take the chem class for head start in the fall. I figured, in addition to it being required of me, I also will get a chemistry refresher class in before starting head start for crna school. It cant hurt
  10. I did not have to take CCRN because I already am CCRN. But I've heard that if someone applied in a previous year and did not get accepted for some reason, the second time around Barry requires CCRN. That's probably not the case with you, but that's the only reason I can think of. Let me know if I can help in anyway. In fact, if you shoot me your email, I can forward you the material I used to study for the CCRN. Dont feel badly, your'e not alone. I've gotta retake the quantitative portion of the GRE because I was 3 points shy of the score they were looking for. Because of that I could not take the research class this summer because I decided it was astute for me to focus on securing my spot before I start taking courses. I also need a chemistry class, so i need to get those two things out of the way this summer, then I'll take the chemistry and prof. aspects in the fall.
  11. neither can I. I was gonna take the research class but changed my mind because my plate will be full retaking the quantitative portion of the GRE n a chem class. What about you?
  12. my email is [email protected] for anyone wanting to communicate. I am excited to get to know everyone as we will be class mate this upcoming spring. feel free to email me and we can also communicate by phone if anyone's interested. Also, I chose Orlando for a clinical site, Did anyone else chose Orlando?
  13. i plan on doing the advance research class for the summer. Are you moving to florida right away or are you waiting? also, which clinical site did you pick?
