  1. I'm interested in changing career, looking into nursing - I wonder if I should go for a Bachelors of Science in Nursing or entry level Masters program. I know admission for the latter one is very competitive... Any helpful advice would be appreciated.
  2. I was going through admission requirements for entry level masters in nursing and it looks like most schools require Biochemistry (4 credits) as a prereq in addition to Microbiology, Anat & Phys I and II. Does that mean general/organic chemistry is not required here? I have an undergrad in Business Administration. Thank you
  3. I am working a part time job (3 days a week), single, no kids.
  4. I still have Anat&Phys I and II, Microbiology, Nutrition, Biochemistry and I may repeat the sociology class before next spring. I am only taking Nutrition and Anat & PhysI for the summer. I know they are hard and require a lot of studying. I want to complete them before spring 2013 matriculation. Do you think I have enough time? Can I get someone's advise on how to manage my time and what classes to take together? Thank you
  5. Who cares??? people are going to talk about you anyway???? So why bother??? Even presidents, doctors get their shares I worked in hospitals and I know..
  6. I'm upset because I am taking a nutrition class which is required for my Master's in Nursing but I just found out that it will not transfer because the school (Huntington college of health sciences) is accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) which is only a national accreditation. This school offers a Biochemistry class as well, and that is another class I need but it is very hard to find it elsewhere! What should I do? Any suggestions? I still have 4 science classes to go before Spring matriculation excluding the nutrition. Do you think Western University of Pomona would waive this class if I had earned an undergrad degree in Medical Assistant, and some good experience in the medical field?.. I am all confused right now. (for all news students please make sure you check this website http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/ before you start your prereqs and look for regional accreditation otherwise you might be wasting your time!!!!!) Thank you for your suggestions in advance
  7. Hello Ladies & Gentlemen, I need to take Anatomy & Physiology I, II/lab and Microbiology/lab. I am considering 2 schools that offer those classes online: Huntington College of Health Sciences and Colorado Community college. The first one is self paced, and the second is 8 week term (accelerated). Huntington includes interactive physiology lab simulations (like a virtual online lab) while Colorado Community College course includes a lab kit that I need to buy. Huntington vs. CCCO, which one should I go for? (I am leaning toward Huntington's self paced/interactive lab) Your help is well-appreciated, Thank you David
